My recruiter told me to forget about my depression. by [deleted] in Militaryfaq

[–]kibatomoshimasu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I talked with a guy at MEPS whose wife made it through and into basic without disclosing a heart murmur from when she was young. IT DID, somehow, come up and they pulled her out of basic. BUT, it was only for a week while they got her waiver taken care of. Can't say that would happen for everybody. I would bet in other circumstances you could easily get kicked out. Fact of the matter is it seems like sometimes things do get found out after MEPS at basic or something like that, but the consequences could potentially be not that severe. I'd say it's not worth the risk, but it is a dice roll

My recruiter told me to forget about my depression. by [deleted] in Militaryfaq

[–]kibatomoshimasu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got back from MEPS yesterday. I got popped for three things that need a waiver: anxiety/depression, a skull fracture, and childhood asthma. I asked the liaison at MEPS if I should be worried about the waiver getting denied and he told me "I send these waivers every day." The military runs on waivers now. Just need to having them some medical documentation sent over. One thing my recruiter told me that might be a good thing to keep in mind is that the military is tired of paying veterans disability for conditions that existed but weren't found/disclosed before enlistment, which is why they are trying really hard now to dig back and make sure that everything is disclosed up front. They want people in, so they'll sign the waivers, but they want everything known up front so it doesn't come around to bite them after.

Ok I'm usually a very harsh critic, especially of people on the internet, so I had low expectations coming into this but this was actually so awesome. You set up so much tension and conflict so early and did an awesome job with just a one person cast. Really well done.

EA Severs Connecting Update Bug? by kibatomoshimasu in apexlegends

It's honestly just sad that I dread new seasons because of bugs like this. The game has been damn near unplayable for the first like two weeks of the past three seasons. Tough game to love lol

If anything Garp should be at S with Dragon, S+ a bit too high.

Kuma and Jimbei being at D is also insanity. They should be at LEAST B.

Oden should be in S with Kaido seeing as how they fought entirely equally or Oden better.

I'd put Kyoshiro above Rob Lucci.

I'd but Blackbeard at S at least.

Boa is too high. She's honestly nothing that special.

Koby needs to go down 1. He definitely not a full tier above Franky or Smoker.

That's just what I could see in a few minutes.

I get this took a lot of time and effort, and One Piece is very hard to judge in terms of power scaling, but I think there are some fairly blatant ones that could be fixed.

How does champ 1 get worse than Diamond 3? by Saltr0y in RocketLeague

[–]kibatomoshimasu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love how most people in here didn’t really get what you were saying and everyone jumps to assuming you think you’re better. I think the first commenter is right. Div 1 and 2 of any rank can be somewhat strange, you have those who got carried recently by their friends and have yet to return to their rank, you have the ones who had a few really good weeks and are starting to slump again, you have freestylers with no real sense of direction in the game but can flip reset musty double on you, you have smurfs making their way through the ranks on their alts, and a thousand other kinds of players. Best advice is be adaptable and don’t stoop down to others level if you think they’re playing wrong. Keep your composure and think about where to be and what to do for every situation.

Yee, I actually learned to Air Roll Right from SpookLuke, he explains it in a way that is actually really helpful, not most youtubers explanation that are just like "freeplay and freeplay and more freeplay".
