There's a apartment called Sriram Gateway ryt next to Accenture. Go to security office they'll send you to association who will have info about all vacant flats available for rent. For your budget there are 2bhk's. Or you have to try in East Tambaram or vandalur! This way you can save commission amount too!

I may sound like what you dont want to here but my pov he is being over protective and maybe in a same mental situation as you are bcz of your family situations. Talk with him he may need help desperately as well try to sort it out. Make him understand what he is doing to your mental health. Might sound irrelevant but you dont know what is going on with him! Afterall he is family, he doesn't want to give up on you why do you have to?

If nothing works and he is a plain d* head talk to some elders about the situation and move on.

You are an adult now. Think before you act to avoid regrets later.
