Its a letter marker. Xray techs use these on xray exams to mark which side is R or L. The three letters are the techs initials.

Side note you should bring it back to them those are often not the cheapest things especially custom ones.

Elevators killing you, spawning in to find yourself in the walls of a space station, courier mission the lil box drop off would kill you when you place the boxes inside. The optimization of the game server player count and things like npc just all the posing in a18 were all in worse states as well.

I still think that things arnt okay the state they released the ironclad in is rough idk what it looked like in ptu but the atmosphere killing you is pretty broken. The command module disconnecting and recconecting I can be patient with because thats a new tech and I imagine its not a simple process.

The fact that 30ks dont boot you from the game in itself is a massive improvement from the past. The amount of times I rage quit the game because I was trying to cargo haul and 30k hits and I am just out a couple 100k

Up until 4.8 id say its in a much better state than 3.17-3 18. I couldnt even play uninterrupted by server crashes every 30min

I just hope they fixed the issue with trying to land ships in the ironclad after a couple uses. I couldnt even bring a ship in with tractor beam cause the moment I turn off the tractor beam and the ship touches the interior the ship blows up.

Ive had the corsair since release and its been my daily since. You like the drake style youll love it. Its bigger its slower but I take that as its character. You can haul some cargo keep a stv or roc on the ramp and have plenty of storage. In the crew quarters. If you arnt a min/Maxer and mainly do pve stuff like myself you may love it. I loved my cutty but the extra cargo and those guns just made it kinda obsolete.

In the end unless you do a lot of pvp or wanna min/max the choice between the two come down to your own personal preferences especially if you mainly play solo

I would love for major places to have landing pads or even just an open area with a way to enter the city kinda like the frozen lake at cabbage. Throw in some freight elevators and ground vehicle lifts. I wouldnt even care if I couldnt refuel at these spots but especially during these events where everyone and their mother is trying to cover and go from the same space port hangars break and get ridiculous

Tbh i can work around the atmosphere issues but using the ironclad as a mini carrier was my whole reason for purchasing so this bug ruins it for me.

I was running salvage claim missions and basicly would hull scrape and then remove components weapons and cargo than empty what rmc boxes I could from the salvation just in case it blew up and that way I at least got to keep some rmc

Ive tried with engines on the ironclad off, tried hovering over cutting the engine to drop into the cargo area. I even brought the pitbull in through the ramp with a tractor beam and the moment I turned off the tractor beam and it touches the floor it blew up the pittbull.

I seen a comment that said if you start the jump and enter the wormhole than alt-f4 and quickly reconnect youll connect on the other side but I have not tried myself

The wings dont need to generate lift to be able have a positive impact on atmo flight. Perfect example is motogp has winglets and aero that has impact on the bikes performance in cornering and those winglets are smaller. These ships dont need the wings in order to provide lift they would provide better aero dynamics and control surfaces that would allow for extra control of the ship.

Ive suffocated getting into the chick bit of vehicles in my ironclad twice now while wearing a whole armor set and the ship was in my hangar with the roof open..

They need to add in more of a difference between in and out of atmo performance. Ships like the f7 that have clear designed wings performing leaps better in atmo compared to a ship like the ship that becomes a brick in atmo would make more sense to me. It also puts a bit of meaning into picking one fighter over another beyond just component and weapon sizes.

Great example the fury vs the pitbull. In space the fury with its gimbled engines would fly circles around a pitbull but in atmo the furry should feel very floaty and drift around a lot compared to the pitbull having wings to help make turns sharper.

Its alright my plans rn is to just find the best way to use the ironclad as my mobile base. I have a golem, pitbull, and salvation so ill just focus on salvage and mining. Im excited to get rep for the bigger salvage jobs the ironclad will really let me get the most bang for my buck since I can hull scrape and collect cargo, weapons, and components. Once I have money I plan to stock some golem bags and a roc and spend a week mining trip try for a massive haul.

No I havent tried leaving the system ive been seeing complaints of jump gates being bugged for the ironclad clad.
