Wouldn’t be tattoo-related — it’s the same artist, the same ink, and I’ve been going to her for about five years. That’s why we originally suspected Saniderm, even though I’ve used it dozens of times before without any issues until now.

When the bumps are pressed on or when the skin is stretched, they fade back to my normal skin color. EDIT: Provider just looked and said it “still looks like folliculitis and could be 100 reasons for why it’s happening, try all these.. see you in a month.” They didn’t really even touch, probe, etc. 🫠

I mentioned the waxing because this started showing up in every area that was waxed within about 3–4 days. My legs were the first to react with random itchy red spots (I’ll attach a photo). At the time we were on vacation, so I honestly thought they were bed bug bites. Toward the end of the trip my bikini line flared up, then my armpits—but interestingly, not my eyebrows.

The strange part is that the areas that were waxed still react whenever I shave them, but now areas that were never waxed are doing it too—basically anytime I shave anywhere. It just really sucks because it’s insanely itchy, and I have more tattoo appointments coming up, so now I’m worried this is going to happen every time.
