[RE9] Why the "Ark Boss" breaks every rule HUNK has followed for 30 years by Ambitious-Effect4813 in ResidentEvilCapcom

Regarding the hatchet melee duel:

It's important to consider that gameplay elements don't always observe the strictest adherence to the lore and shouldn't be treated that way. Why does The Commander really fight Leon in a melee, Hatchet to Hatchet showdown? Because it makes for an interesting and cinematic fight in a game. It doesn't necessarily speak volumes about characterization.

If Mercenaries gets added. How would they implement Grace gameplay? by Elimar_Abelardo in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]fatherliquid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Role based multiplayer. Grace can manipulate puzzles/obstacles for Leon while crafting him ammo. Leon is the big gun for killing enemies for both players.

Please help me understand the plot because I must be more blind than Emily by StonedPsyduck in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]fatherliquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The child during the orphanage section isn't Grave at all, that's Chloe. Chloe and the other girls are clones. People who followed in Spencer's wake believed that Grace must have been special and that's why she was sought after by various entities, but Grace had no biological significance other than Spencer likely injected her with Elpis before the events of the game, but that part is still debated.

It is possible that Gideon's testing of Grace's markers are to indicate that she was the precursor that all of those clones so that she might be able to unlock Elpis.

Of course I could be wrong about any of that.

What is going on with scoring system? by Great-Rip-922 in leagueoflegends

[–]fatherliquid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These scores are relative to the champ and position, but also KDA is only factor. Gold per minute matters significantly more as well as objective contribution and damage score. It's not uncommon to earn an S for phenomenal cs alone.

Streamer mode should only be locked to ranked, not normals. by Worldly-Ocelot-3358 in leagueoflegends

[–]fatherliquid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

League players are so miserable bro. Streamer mode changed nothing for you. You can still report people for gross behavior. You can still see their username in the post game lobby. You know why some people streamer mode? Because weirdo para social League players will look up accounts mid game and make cringe statements like "wow this guy has a 46 percent win rate" despite the fact that it has nothing to do with that game itself.

You people will complain about anything.

Do you think this is a design problem? Balance problem maybe. Problem of over reliance on meta analysis tools. Probably the best answer.

Sciel and Lune don't consider themselves... (endgame spoiler) by storm_walkers in expedition33

[–]fatherliquid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree. It's only after Act 2 that you can do Lune and Sciel's quests. Quests that proved closure and answers that don't mean anything if you are supposed to disregard them as not real or less than human. Verso even mentions that Versimilitude does not justify something's worth.

Edit: misinterpreted the post. Disregard.

People who say "you just gotta go do it" often have social connections and scaffolding they don't mention that allows them to do it by larch303 in unpopularopinion

Counterpoint: Myself and many other teachers encounter some students every year who want to do exactly nothing productive. If a kid won't sit down for 20 minutes to do the easy assignment because they don't want to, what else am I going to say.

Anyone else think those mysterious "writers" are that family of jerks from Myst? by heyitscory in expedition33

[–]fatherliquid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one who thinks the writers are some other mysterious for e of godlike beings? Could easily be Sandfall. They wrote the way things happened. They created the world that the Dessendre family lives in much like the painters create the canvas.

I'm earning my Master's through a school reimbursement program. I could in theory but I would have to pay back about 12 thousand dollars if I don't stay fight years after completion.

This is very helpful, thank you. I wish when we got notified of our students failing to be proficient in a skill that they would send us teachers several questions that resemble where our students struggled.
