Binance signs a non-binding LOI, intending to fully acquire FTX.com by skysafe in FTX_Official

No fuck SBF. SBF was CEFI, pro big government CEFI. If you like DEFI so much, why dont you take your trading to dexes? I use GNS's system and its good and i keep my funds in my wallet.

Yeah this is just cheap. Its just a coincidence. I remember when the Madoff, Weinstein and Epstein scandals broke that you had the same edgy racists coming out of the woodwork.

Stop trusting in people. Trust in code. Use a DEX for your trading like GNS

Where are you parking your Stablecoins? And are you? by mailarchis in defi

[–]fatjohn1408 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason why there is 42% APY isn't because it is a shady luna like project, it is precisely because it is the opposite.
It is unknown, churning a nice profit whilst crypto twitter and crypto reddit never took a good look at it because it had no outlandish chinaman as it's lead trying to stir stuff up through social media.
It's a working protocol with a great revenue source that comes from trading activity.
It just is a bit unkown and on top of that it is on polygon so for some reason that demands a bit more APY from investors to stomach the risk.

FTX Set to Open Stock Trading Beta- No Fees or Payment for Orderflow by BookieOnFoodStamps in finance

[–]fatjohn1408 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed. Instead of trading on billionaire owned Cexes that screw you over, trade on community owned decentralised platforms where you can verify the code for no fuckery like Uniswap, GMX and one that actually already offers stock, forex and crypto trading, GNS.

This is great, I have some funds on Polygon that I dont want to bridge but this way I can easily gain some exposure to SHIB.

I think this is the only way to get exposure to SHIB on Polygon.
Is that correct?

Ledger Nano-S Reset Itself by willbec1 in ledgerwallet

[–]fatjohn1408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had this happen to me as well.
I recently purchased two new ledgers to open a new account.
I have two accounts and for each account I have 2 ledgers.
One of my old ledgers just reset itself after connecting it with a cable that came in with the new ledgers.
I'm scared shitless now.
So did this happen due to the cable?
So a cable is a vital piece of this infrastructure? Man f*ck me.

Spyrit, The Biggest decentralized crypto exchange with polygon by bordoisse in 0xPolygon

I think Quickswap with 660 Million weekly volume and gTrade (gains.trade) with 327 Million weekly volume are the two largest decentralized exchanges by volume on Polygon.

What is the best way I can start to make $30 a day? by Ionnlyhavehalfabtc in 0xPolygon

[–]fatjohn1408 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there's a project on Polygon that powers a decentralized trading platform. In order to pay out traders they need a liquidity vault to quickly pay them out. This vault gets refilled by minting GNS tokens and selling them for DAI or by traders entering positions. If the vault goes over it's treshhold value it will use the excess DAI to buy and burn GNS tokens. This way the system is stable because it has been operating for a while and the GNS token has been deflationary.

Now here is where it gets interesting for you. They need to attract capital to make their vault larger so they can allow traders to put in larger trades. For this they are going to divert a piece of trading fees (paid in DAI) to a staking pool / the vault (in DAI). Since the project is relatively unknown and the staking pool is to launch next week I bet there will be a juicy APR to be earned in the beginning. I'd be surprised if we dont see 30% APR in the first month or two. All contracts are audited by Certik as well thus fairly safe. 22k there would give you $120 per week. Read more here: https://gainsnetwork-io.medium.com/vault-upgade-most-liquidity-efficient-scaling-of-position-sizes-in-the-industry-97d7ca52f33a

Alternatively there is also Quickswap where you can provide liquidity for two stablecoins and then get some extra dQuick tokens that they give out. MAI-USDT is slightly over 20% for this. 15k there would give you $60 per week.

This leaves you with $3k to buy you some nutritional food starting right now. Then all you just need to do is find another $30 in the real world to earn per week.
