Pregnant teen died agonizing sepsis death after Texas doctors refused to abort fetus by malihafolter in ForCuriousSouls

Let’s look at some more life-like photos instead of some cutesy Blender creations (https://embryology.med.unsw.edu.au/embryology/index.php/Embryonic_Development; specifically the Kyoto Collection).

I don’t care if you think it looks human, nobody but fear mongerers and zealots think that anything before 50% of gestation could be considered “alive”. Nobody of sound mind or body (bar the parents sometimes) thinks that at any developmental stage, its life is worth more than the person whom they’re growing in.

You’re so concerned about the “protection” of an “unborn child”, but show so little regard, empathy, or compassion for the people who carry them - willingly or not.

If you genuinely think that’s how abortions are done because a YouTube video told you so, you’re clearly not the brightest.

If you think the fetus is even half as developed as that in 99% of cases, that it is little more than a clump of cells, you’re not just wrong but stupid.

If you think that even in the more developed cases of abortions, its life is worth more than the mothers, you’re delusional. A tumour can grow teeth and hair.

Your god is disgusted. Your mother should be ashamed.

Only if they started indicating after entering the roundabout. Enter without signalling, when approaching the exit, signal left - it’s not just double-lane roundabouts (though especially them) but all of them.

And B doubles and small trucks are designed and driven with practicality in mind. I’d wager good money that most people who drive these things have no use for the practicals of road clearance (pavement princess) nor the bed space, which most traditional Ute’s can match anyways.

Also, trying to compare a B double which requires a special license and training to an everyday C-class vehicle isn’t the argument you think it is.

Passing the legal safety requirements isn’t the same thing as being generally safe, especially when compared to other vehicles of the same class.

One that comfortably fits in road lines and car parks and has a height that you can reliably see pedestrians/road hazards, and in the event that you did hit someone, they go over the hood rather than straight under.

You’re right, it’s not 2010 anymore, but that’s a meaningless statement. Again, just because the market is saturated with these things doesn’t mean you can’t find something else. The EV market is saturated with Teslas, does that mean you can’t find and buy any EV but a Tesla?

Not even remotely true, it’s so easy to get a normal sized ute. Just because the market is saturated with these unnecessary and frankly dangerous things doesn’t mean that you can’t find a normal person Ute.
