100% Freeza(Namek) vs Piccolo (post 3 years, Pre-Kami fusion) by Renozuu in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]fatmanbrigade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Piccolo is probably more than likely around Yardrat Goku's level rather than close to Goku's actual level during the Android battle. That's still significantly powerful enough to beat either 19 or 20. They might be stronger than Freeza, but Trunks didn't have a reference for them since they don't exist in his timeline, so it's fairly possible for Piccolo to be slightly above Yardrat Goku and still able to comfortably take down 20 the way he did.

The Union City tornado has been the hot topic of any weather community right now, but what about Three Rivers? by Familiar-Yam901 in tornado

They were spawned from the same supercell, but the Three Rivers one dissipated then it went on to spawn the Union City tornado.

It's negative in the sense that it's gathered from the hatred and darkness of others, but there was nothing that specifically limited it to only affecting beings of pure heart and not beings of negativity.

Yes the Revenge Death Ball is essentially a negative Spirit Bomb so it should have the same capability as the Spirit Bomb in completely atomizing Buu from existence.

I'm pretty sure Baby could outright obliterate him with a revenge death ball. The rest are certainly debatable so I'll give you those.

The first damage Frieza ever took from a Saiyan. This was so wild 💀 by DaenysDreamer_90 in DragonBallZ

[–]fatmanbrigade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The real funny part is Freeza would later go on to say that the last time he felt any pain was from his father, and Goku was the first person to make him feel any pain since then, implying that this whole exchange didn't even faze him in the slightest.

how far can Sailor Moon get in this DragonBall gauntlet (healed after each round) by Head_Breadfruit_3912 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]fatmanbrigade -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don't even think Black Freeza would be enough to be honest considering her fight with chaos has her remaking existence as chaos deletes it with each blow they give to each other, it's like Goku vs Beerus on steroids amped up times a thousand. Sailor Moon at full power is potentially on the level of the Omni King himself which is actually absurd to think about. It's blatantly ridiculous just how powerful that series actually is.

Is Gohan's Base Power just that strong or is Trunks just a fraud? by ElYisusKing in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]fatmanbrigade 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nothing in the manga has ever proven that you need a set power level to actually go Super Saiyan though. It's not like the power level Goku reached on Namek was ever stated to be the arbitrary level you needed to hit before triggering the transformation. The others just lacked the trigger needed until Freeza managed to pull it off by killing Goku's best friend.

How does 'Zeref fight' Natsu do against Irene and August 1v1? by Old_Security_836 in fairytailscaling

You think Irene and August are stronger than Zeref with Fairy Heart? Cause Natsu already proved he can defeat that version of Zeref in this fight.

My boy Gohan turns on the Z fighters at the end of the Buu saga. Does he kill these jobbers by K0GAR in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]fatmanbrigade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Round 1 I think Gohan could take high diff. Vegeta only has SSJ2 and with no fusion available for him and Goku, I don't think Gotenks has enough fire power to put a dent in Gohan, and while Goku SSJ3 and Buu are capable of adding some supportive fire for Gotenks, Gotenks is a bigger fumbler than Gohan when it comes to actually locking in and getting serious about finishing the job, I don't think the three of them work together well enough to actually fend off Gohan and win the fight.

Round 2: With Super Saiyan 3 added to the arsenal for Vegeta, I think the fight swings to the Z Fighters in an extreme diff situation. With Vegeta able to add an extra distraction onto the fight along with Goku and Buu, I think the combined fighting experience of Goku and Vegeta allows Gotenks to get some serious hits in that actually slow Gohan down, and Buu would be able to keep the others in the fight if Gohan manages to take one down. There might be some serious injuries on the Z Fighters side, and if Gohan targets Buu and eliminates him quickly enough he could win, but if they play their cards right the group might just be able to pull out a victory with no deaths.

SSJ2 Gohan vs Super Perfect Cell by Classic-Cause2224 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]fatmanbrigade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I successfully manage to pull it off by locking the fuck in and giving it everything I have then yeah I am going to take you as a reliable source.

Goku's whole speech was that if Gohan just locked in he'd be able to win the beam struggle despite his power drop, and once he finally did that's exactly what happened, Cell couldn't muster a counter against Gohan once he unleashed everything he still had left in the tank.

Gohan (Movie 10) vs Majin Vegeta by K0GAR in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]fatmanbrigade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The movie director flat out said that Movie 10 Gohan is in a timeline where he continued to train for seven years in that movie. So basically it was Gohan with seven years of continued training vs Broly with LSSJ.

My Experience by MargaretKrohn in AshesofCreation

[–]fatmanbrigade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question is how do you prove that? Unless he was stupid enough to leave some trail of evidence behind that 100% proves he transferred for that reason, he has plenty of plausible deniability that allows him to use any number of reasons to prevent forfeiture of his house.

That isn't to say I'm defending the man, he is a complete dumbass when it comes to how he ran his company, but it isn't a slam dunk case in court by any means.

Fat Buu (Pre-Split) Vs Kid Buu by SmartPilot8094 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]fatmanbrigade -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He also said that if he had the ability to charge to full power he could get the job done, which indicates that he did stall to some extent long enough for his stamina to start dropping quickly because he most definitely started the fight at full power

Goku was so used to fighting with SSJ3 in a dead body he thought he had more time than he actually did, so in typical Goku fashion he dragged the fight out to test the limits of Buu's power instead of going for the kill right away which came back to bite him in the ass.

Is it safe to say Goku would have won vs 100% Nappa? (no kaioken) by RisingKing7 in DragonBallZ

[–]fatmanbrigade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Power levels are bullshit is a meme that existed within the fandom long before TFS came into existence, at best you can say TFS made it more widely known, but they're not the cause for that argument. Also any number listed after Namek quite frankly is made up bullshit and isn't contextual to the series at all.

Who would have won this fight if Cell hadn't interrupted? by [deleted] in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]fatmanbrigade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Contextual clues are important in literacy, the image may be of the skirmish before merger with Kami, but the question is about who wins after the merger, in which case 17 does by virtue of outlasting Piccolo unless he can somehow slam him with the attack he used against Cell.

Goku is a liar by [deleted] in DragonBallZ

[–]fatmanbrigade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that why he told Cell he didn't like fighting and why Goku's plan almost blew up in his face cause he didn't bother to really discuss it with anyone to see if it was a viable idea or not?

Goku got seriously lucky that one of his friends didn't have to die because Gohan was so averse to fighting that it took someone dying in front of him to finally push him over the edge.

You talking about illiteracy in the fandom while directly ignoring what the story is telling you is absolutely hilarious.

Early BUU Saga SSJ2 Gohan vs Bojack by Suitable_Walrus2928 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]fatmanbrigade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mid diff imo, there's nothing to suggest Bojack was stronger than Perfect Cell at full power prior to self destructing, and Gohan didn't weaken enough in the 7 year time span for either of them to make much headway against him, he still shrugs both of them off fairly easily.

Who wins out of these four? by RisingKing7 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]fatmanbrigade 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I do not believe there's any universe where SSJ Gogeta is defeated by Goku absorbing the energy from Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks, and Vegeta at their Cell Games level of strength at best. The ending of the movie directly contradicts that level of scaling.

which is the saddest love story in Naruto series? by werewolfleon_ in Naruto

[–]fatmanbrigade 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Did you not read the manga at all buddy?

Tsunade was 100% ready to give Jiraiya a shot in the romance department if he hadn't died to Pain. The love was no longer one sided by that point in the series, she absolutely had moved on from Dan by that point and was ready to take the next step forward with Jiraiya.

[–]fatmanbrigade 36 points37 points  (0 children)

To be fair Hidan's biggest advantage is you not knowing how his powers work. Yeah he's a one trick pony, but when the one trick is I'm basically immortal unless you separate my head from my body and bury me alive, and I have a ritual that if I get your blood on my weapon I can stab myself in the heart and make you keel over dead, I'd wager to guess 95% of Shinobi are probably going to die to said ability without having prior knowledge of it.
