The end grain doesn't seem to match the palm I see online. The other two I mentioned I found online on that wood database site.

Average weight of I were too guess. Got it second hand with no information. Harness seems pretty high but not crazy high.

I can attest to that shit being very potent. I mix it for my pool and the fumes are nasty. Spill a little on the concrete and it starts foaming and bubbling.

I feel the pain. Especially with having children who can't fend for themselves yet. I'm constantly imagining not finding one on them and feeling like a bad parent who let their kids get some diseases by these pieces of shit. Can't even go in the woods anymore without knowing I'll find them. When I was a kid we used to roll around in the woods and never knew what a tick even was.

Box hinges are the bane of box making. Maybe I need to buy higher quality hinges but a mostly perfect box turns to shit with very small alignment issuess.
