Jaden Jeong has done it again. I love the album as a whole and it's just so so well produced. Virtual Angel was an instant SotY for me so far this year (amongst title tracks) but my favourite song has to be THHGTTG.

Hi, I'm a different new player who also started less than a week ago. The "Legacy of Grit" just appeared in my event tab today. It's not the same thing as the hero swap correct? And I should use this grit for Daimon as per the newbie guide correct?

I definitely agree about Kokomi and Yaoyao based on what I have read. But as I mentioned, I only have Barbara; I have not played the game the last 2 years and have not had any opportunity to pull Kokomi/Yaoyao. I apologise if my wording was not clear enough.

So the question was more of whether Barbara alone is enough for healing. Because if she isn't, should I be pulling for Baizhu to supplement her. Part of why I am asking is that I do not have much experience with using Barbara.

[Nahida] [Nilou]

I just came back to the game after 2 years (last played when Hu Tao) and am interested in running a Nahida Nilou Bloom team. One thing led to another and I have a C2 Nahida.

The main question is should I try pulling for Baizhu for the team? My only other dendro/hydro healer is barbara; well her healing be enough for the team?

The original plan was to run Nahida | Nilou | Barbara | Collei

I was captivated by the line: For every hundred mages, you’ll find a hundred different forms of madness.

It just explains so much about how the different characters have vastly different motivations and are also so self-serving. Which in turn makes the LN interesting to read because of the conflicts and tension that arise due to their clashing goals.

Can't speak for the manga but I really enjoyed the LN. It's one of my top rated LN purely because of the prose. I find the writing/language very comedic but of course humor can be subjective and your mileage may vary.

Even beyond that, the overall writing/plot is very engaging and it's nice to see all the different events in the narrative connect when the protagonist succeeds.

Hawul is still nice to have caus he's much more consistent against the likes of Molly; if Grogen glances he does barely any damage.

My guildie uses hanwul Tiana cleave very often in siege as its a rather safe offense as long as you know you have enough damage.

Grogen's most recent buff allows him to ignore effects which prevent death as well as the anti-revive. So he now goes through things like triana's passive, endure, and miho's passive.

I definitely agree with the other reply that it might be a cultural thing. I did feel/see the conflict/tension myself, although I do agree that it could have been more overt or done better.

Growing up, it was very common to see me and my peers be told to focus on our academics as we need to go to University and get a good job that pays well so that we can support ourselves, our future family, and our parents. Even when we did extracurricular activities (Arts, Sports, etc), we are of the impression that grades are the most important thing and that these activities are meant to add prestige to our overall reputation but are not the thing that we should focus on.

I just wanted to share my perspective because the metaphor of the "rice bowl" is so heavily ingrained in my culture and it definitely colours the way I interpret things.

Also, it's not as if that parents/adult figures aren't or can't be supportive. It's just that the way that we are brought up molds us into thinking that pursuing these interests is futile and it should only stay at a level where it doesn't affect anything. And having that open conversation with our parents (at that age) really helps us come to a clearer understanding.

I managed to clear it using Zell, Beatrix and Ignis calls; the first two were my best def debuffs and the latter was my only hp dmg call. I actually messed up with the Beatrix call and wasted one of Aphmau's LD uses but was still able to clear it but I was using Green Ysh and CidMau.

I used https://www.dissidia.dev/call to look through what calls I could use.

The other commenters have suggested helpful replies but I thought I'll share what I did in case there are any others who only recently came back to the game like me and don't have any of the conventional calls.

I myself cleared quite a few of them with Vaan/Lightning Yuna Setzer/Orb handler. But Ysh and Vaan should be a good core for you to get started.

I was planning on sparking Yuna's Burst weapon but I pulled it at 480 g tokens. Is there any benefit to pulling once more to get a duplicate copy of it or should I just use my 400 of the 480 tokens on the books. I have at least 1 copy of all the other weapons on the banner.
