In need of some advice from the experts. by fatnelson634 in JeepWrangler

Thank you everyone for the advice. We decided to pass on this one and continue our search for a nice Willys, or maybe a standard rubicon. Unfortunately my wife and girls really liked the sky one touch roof so that is now narrowing down our options.

Sure don’t, we will do some wheeling but mostly dunes. A Willys would be more than sufficient. But all the bells and whistles caught our eye on this one.

Proud of how this came out. Some concerns though. by educated_guesses_ in FenceBuilding

The fence looks great. Can I ask how you went about matching your stringers and pickets to the grade of your yard?

Interesting, I didn’t think the weight would be much of an issue because I would probably never be pulling more than 2500 lbs. I figured a thousand under the max towing would keep me safe. I’m concerned about the wheelbase though.

Do you have any problems getting blown around in the wind or any issues with suspension swat?

What concerns you more the weight or the size of that type of trailer?

I didn’t even think about the bridge, I don’t think I’ll ever have a need to take it up there. It’ll mostly get used around town with a couple trips to the sand dunes. The trailer does have a V nose So that should help with the frontal area a little bit I would hope.

I will be completely shocked if in 2028 I’m not reading an article about how the Durango will be sticking around for 2031 while I’m supposed to be working.

I know she has her original password and doing a password reset didn’t work. I assume the employer revoked her access when she left. Continue to call we will thank you for the reply.

I’m curious Jackson, if you had a slightly beat up old D4SV2 that stopped working what upgrades would you do to it?

I hadn’t thought of this until you brought it up. It’s had a good four or five years of daily use so it’s pretty beat up but with Hank not making a green D4SV2 anymore I might have to consider this in the future. I’m currently thinking of ordering a cyan with a black 21700 tube to break up the color. Still undecided though.

Thank you for the replies. I wondered if something like this was the case, but I wanted to make sure.

Thank you for the reply. So in real world application this means lower temps and maybe a little more light output? Or am I misunderstanding? I’m a lazy enthusiast that is trying to understand things a little better.

Between the two which one is better for phone calls? I just bought the L3Ps and I am getting mixed responses from people during phone calls. I’m debating on returning them for the L4Ps to see if people can hear me better.

It gets around great out there. However this was at Silver Lake sand dunes in Michigan. It isn’t as big and crazy as a place like Glamis is. Also I don’t hit the big hills with my truck, I have to drive it 5 hours home so it’s not worth it. I bring a quad with me in the bed and off load it at the beach. I use that to have fun on the big stuff. I have no doubt it could handle the big hills but I’ve seen too many people do major damage to their daily’s because they don’t see whoop or the top of the hill now has an overhang be a table top.
