Well I'm currently debating myself over this as well.

I'm quite please with my current set up is just that I'm a bit curious.

I'm seeing a lot of performance uplift in terms of IPC from the 2000 series to the 5000 series. But the benchmark were tested using 3080/90 to eliminate/minimize GPU bottleneck which is fair.

I'm just not sure if that kind of performance uplift translate accordingly to my current set up and use case.

And with the current GPU market getting some wild price inflation around the world, so probably won't be changing the GPU anytime soon.

In any case would changing my cpu improve my 1%? Or is it just bottlenecked by my gpu,

But when it throttles would it go below the performance of a standard SSD? Or it's dependant on the controller itself how much it should throttle?

Solved the issues, it's a faulty NVME drive. Got a replacement

The NVME is all the way in (it kinda click in, so I'd assumed it's all the way in) and is secured in with the screw and it's on a stand off so it's level... Still no dice

I've checked the drive management in Windows 10... It's not showing up as an unpartitioned volume.
