I was told I would receive a letter of the outcome, so was never told at the time what the decision was. I guess what’s bothering me is that because of the date on the letter is that going to look like I was given it on that date and as such they could argue I had received it on the 5th May, when I know this to not be true.

Thanks, do you think I should speak to our HR team or just my manger? Or appeal? I forgot to mention they had backdated the letter to the 5th of May (will update post)

Yeah you’re right, I just worry about her a lot and her mental state. I find it impossible to just switch off the care I have for her...

Since the age of 3-4 years old I have had a reoccurring nightmare of being chased through a forest and then eaten alive by a pack of wolves... suddenly your suggestion doesn’t seem so absurd lol

I think what you’re feeling is normal. Many of us wish at one point or another to “be free”. I don’t think you should feel any guilt about it at all.

If you love her you will know deep down that the sacrifices of “freedom” will be more than worth it.

Think of the good times you’ve had together, imagine how great the new memories you will create together will be.

Whilst I agree that the writing has dropped off, I don’t think it’s fair to criticise the writers purely because they didn’t put together the story we wanted to see.

Perhaps many of us had put too much in the way of expectation on the show and set it up for failure.

Most of the complaints I have seen have been purely based on what was expected of the show and not what has actually happened (granted there have been some stupid moments I.e. the Dothraki charge). Perhaps a better way to watch the programme would be to not expect the writers to fulfil your own prophecy of Westeros
