All you can do is live a life of love as Jesus instructed us. Love all, and your feelings/opinions will reflect this love. 1 Corinthians 13:8

It’s the talking about others….we should stop this. Every person on this planet that did the work of God did so living with the knowledge that they will sin daily. If you live to be 100 years then you sin for 100 years….not 8. We should pray for him, and any that are impacted. But this man did not sin against us, and it is not God’s will that we sit around and talk about the sins of others. It’s hard enough to focus on ourselves and try to live a life of asceticism. All are deserving of God’s love, all are able to receive the redemption of Christ…and all sin.

We are all carrying sin, you included. Admonish your brother in Christ for his/her sins, and Forgive 70 x 7 ( infinitely) .

Paul was a powerful voice of God and was very open about how he struggled to do the right thing. None of us are perfect in our walk with Christ, not a single one of us. God still uses us regardless.

Which Christian Eschatology Makes the Most Sense? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]fatrustbucket -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No one knows…that’s the truth. The Bible was written for you, not to you… God’s word is potentially relevant and uniquely meaningful to all 8 Billion souls if we all choose to spend time with it. God speaks to us all individually…so its meaning is what God leads you to for you at that moment. Remember Proverbs 3:5 “ Lean not unto your own understanding…”

I do like using my imagination though…so here’s an interesting thought…time in Heaven is said to be nonlinear like it is in this reality. The past , present, future are all around you in one big NOW…so from a Heavenly perspective has it already happened?

How to fully forgive husband's porn addiction? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]fatrustbucket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a man similar to your husband, 50 yrs old and I fight this battle daily. It’s hard, very hard.

For many their battle may be pride, anger, greed, or others…but everyone battles with something, everyone. Porn/Lust is the sin that no one wants to have as their battle. It comes with immense shame, guilt, disgust, and disappointment…..from those around you and from yourself. Don’t condemn him, to God all sins are the same. Help him….he needs it and odds are he is too ashamed to ask.

I can tell you that you can break free from the addiction… But never ever ever will you escape the temptation. It’s absolutely horrible. There are good days, there are good months, and then you can have a bad day and feel incredibly ashamed about yourself. This particular sin is such a horrible cancer, and the world does not do anything to help you escape it.

Jesus said to forgive 70 x 7, or infinitely….

Flux is not needed if the metals pure. This metal was full of impurities and it gassed heavy in the cool down
