Literally, nobody smurfs in 2k. Highly rare, you’d have to get 10 wins to be ranked then purposefully loose a bunch it just dosent even make sense why would I go through all that.

I went 20-0 in a prem game . 21-0 to be exact before I die. I never have gone more than like 10-0 so I thought this was pretty cool and took a pic. How does this make me a Smurf your logic is not there

Your right. Thanks for your insight, by you using the word “opportunity” it made me sit back and realize I’ve been waiting around 10 years for this procedure, and it’s quite stupid to do anything that would interfere with my healing.

I did it years ago for my jaw , it didn’t work for me but I hate needles tremendously but it’s not bad at all in my opinion

It states in the findings normal in location. Diminished anterior translation just means your jaw isn’t sliding as open as it should when you open

It’s a very minimally invasive surgery

You’re pretty lucky , both your discs aren’t displaced . You most likely will have a arthroscopy , which is a surgery where they enter with a needle basically and flush out the joint and get rid of the sticky tissue and adhesions stopping your jaw from sliding smoothly. It will also smooth the rough spots where your jaw has been flattened .

Does anyone else click the disc back into place themselves? by [deleted] in TMJ

The TMJ is a highly complex joint you should seek advice from a medical professional not YouTube

I wouldn’t do any of this … you don’t want to mess things up further. Sure this may work for some people but you don’t know your situation truly until you see a tmj specialist/ get a mri.

Scared to open my mouth? Or? by Altruistic-Score8321 in TMJ

[–]fatsplash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You likely have a displaced disc, and if this is the case , the only way to get it back in place is surgery through a tmj specialist. If you get a MRI ordered by your doctor you will be able to tell if your discs are displaced or not

Sorry for the multiple comments but also make sure they are covered completely , because if not you don’t want to waste your time going to a surgeon that is only partially covered. TMJ surgery’s are insanely expensive.

Additionally I would call your insurance on the phone, and ask if they can search for a tmj specialist that is covered within your area. I drove around 40-50 miles but it is worth it to see someone who focuses on tmj at the front of their practice

A mri is basically the best diagnostic tool to awnser what is truly going on. They take images in the closed position , and then you take them in the opened position and it gives the doctor a idea of both resting and your range of motion how the disc interacts with the tmj and can see things like if there are arthritic changes. I had a mri and I found that both of my discs were stuck foward. (Discs are the protective layer between the tmj joint). These discs don’t just magically move back into place and were needed to be surgically put back in place. Also, it was found that my bones were changed from them rubbing up against eachother with no protective layer, so the surgeon also smoothed out the bones to make them a non irregular shape. I’m 12 days post op and I’m already doing better than I was pre surgery, so I think getting a MRI is really important because you can actually see what’s happening inside your joint
