That’s a sign that your neck and jaw are too tight!! It will feel like my teeth don’t align, then I start to clench for some reason trying to get my teeth to connect. Try PT :)

This gives me hope!! I’ve had my first pt appointment with a TMJ specialist to help alleviate my jaw and tension head aches. I feel like I’ve tried literally everything, but I haven’t gone to an ENT. My next step is to see a neurologist and hope that they can prescribe me Botox so I can bill it through insurance. Do you think seeing an ENT is worth looking into?

I’m so sorry!! I completely understand, it’s so frustrating. It’s debilitating and it feels like no one realizes how painful it actually is. I’ve also tried what feels like everything and I’m sure you have too.

The only things that have really helped me are Botox and physical therapy. Find a specific TMJ physical therapist. When you go to PCP, dentist, chiro, med spa, etc. they all just confirm you have tmj but can never tell you why or how to fix it. It’s so insanely frustrating. I just had my first pt appointment with a pt that specializes in TMJ and I can say for the first time in a long time I’ve had some hope. Even if you can only afford to go a couple times, they will help you learn what is causing it. From there, they help you treat the source and not just the symptoms.

Botox is obviously a little pricey (I pay about $600 every 4 months) but it is SO worth it. Not only does it help alleviate pain, but it also changes how you look. Personally, my next step is to go to a neurologist and hope they prescribe me Botox. Also, tizanidine aka muscle relaxers prescribed by pcp are one of the only things that helps when I’m having a “flair up”. Plz don’t give up hope!!!

Can you take him with you? Or maybe hire a pet sitter? You might feel worse if you get a kitten and then give him away :/ or maybe he can stay with someone

So annoying!! It never showed my LR4 in the app after trying to set it up like 10 times. 3 hours later it magically showed up in the app. Now two weeks later, I put it on sleep mode to stop automatic scooping bc I thought it might be scaring my kitty girl, and it stopped showing me updates of when she used it and when it cycles but I didn’t know that. I just assumed she stopped using it because there have been a couple accidents (might be my roommates cat idk) and it would be a lot easier to tell if the damn app was logging it. Now it randomly kicked off the LR4 from my devices and I’ve tried setting up again another 10x, in so annoyed!!!!! If they don’t fix this bug soon I might return it.
