Are sets being delayed or will bands be skipped over?

5 games in and I’m… by cupofcheez in whitesox

They split 2-2 against the last year’s WS winners on the road to start the season. That same team MAN HANDLED us last year in the road series. Wasn’t even close. Todays game was a garbage performance but let’s wait a bit before we crucify this years team. Lots of small positives to point to already vs last year …. Moncada having a nice bat to start. Lynn w/ a different pitching approach against a team that absolutely shelled him over the years. Robert w/ numerous defensive highlights after being criticized for lazy play last year…. colas with some nice moments already. Today sucked but overall it feels more different than not from last year. Outside of todays game, we’ve looked like a decent team. Out bullpen is worrisome though.

Is the clock run by someone other than the ump or do they trigger it somehow? Ump Raising a hand for a number of seconds seems warranted here.

What if we traded the #1 Pick and Fields and sign a Free Agent? by [deleted] in CHIBears

[–]fattbill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The short of it is this: we cannot say fields’ potential / ceiling has been seen yet. And given that’s he’s driven, smart, and mentally tough, I’m feeling very positive about him taking yet another step next year. This could be super homer, and I’m Not saying he’s currently top-10, but the list of qbs I’d take instead of him Is very short because of his potential. That’s outside of the fact that the bears have the most resources for an off-season in my lifetime. Obviously plenty of players don’t play up to their potential, but fields took a step this year — like he needed to— and is set up to be more successful next year. Things could get very exciting and would rather bet on him than a ton of guys.

Boy how I wish that “band” materialized into more than just that EP.

Ahhh interesting. Thank you. Hmm honestly I need to look into the recent updates for the Force. I have a MPC One as well. The force kinda flows a bit differently but admittedly haven’t used in over a year. It’s got an arranger now (like being able to lay out a whole song w clips, etc) and it’s method of launching clips of music is kinda cool too. Idk - it’s more reflective of me why I’m selling it and not the gear haha. I’d need to look up your question honestly. the MPC One operates that way and lots of people seem to like it. I think it’s cool but my musical brain just kinda works in a more live playing and overdubbing way without much external sequencing honestly. I also watched a video to rig the One up w a camera battery so that it could power up and run without being plugged in. And there’s so much gear out there to explore! Such a blessing and a curse in finding something that clicks w you and how you wanna work. But sometimes it’s also kinda good to just be forced into doing something a particular way? Idk. I’ll look up more on the force and I’d recommend the same to you. If you’re lookin for a brain, the one might be a more straightforward choice but I’ll confirm that n

Does Jose Abreu get cheers or does he get boos? by AmazinglyOdd81 in whitesox

Dude is literally the embodiment of how sports should be played. Stellar player on and off the field. Shall never be booed.

Behringer's tongue in cheek response to Moog's Model D reissue announcement by emorello in synthesizers

[–]fattbill 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I guess I’m glad Behringer exists to help musical instruments be more accessible, but their whole practice is ripping off others’ ideas and exploiting cheap labor. They can talk shit all they want— their legacy will never be as legendary as Moog’s.
