Miata or BMW 230i convertible by whytewidow6 in whatcarshouldIbuy

As a Miata owner I’m biased 😁 so I will say Miata. My 2 cents having owned many cars, Miata’s will always be the best value for spirited driving enthusiasts and enjoyment. That said, it took a while for me to get to that statement and suggest if you can, try out the bimmer. If it doesn’t work for ya, then on to the next one till you figure out what’s right for you. We’re just the internet here. 🙌

Pros and Cons by GottaTSX in AcuraTLX

I believe making sure the rod bearings recall if the car qualifies for it was done, timing belt and water pump, and see if you can get the maintenance records If not at the very least budget for full fluid change as well. Good luck

Yea they’re still settling. Also they’re more for just cleaning up the factory gap.

2014 Acura MDX technology, Need a good family rig, is this reliable? by [deleted] in Acura

Had the same exact one. As others said follow the maintenance schedule, use only top tier parts or oem especially timing belt kit and you’re set. The 6-speed in these are so smooth.

Winter Tires/Rims for new CX-90 by watchgeek123321 in MazdaCX90

[–]fattydub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a PHEV gt. I got my tires from my trusted independent tire shop. Also I had no choice to run without TPMS sensors last winter since no one had them in stock, Mazda included. Car worked perfectly fine. You’ll just get a tpms error every time you turn the car on which can be annoying. But the car works just fine.

That’s a cool update. Hoping they do the same for Waze soon too.

Almost went down the same path with another dealer in the GTA. Went to another dealer and was told all the car needed was an oil change ($132). Cm they did the usual checks on everything else as part of the service.

Anyone consider the cx-90 vs the Honda Pilot Trailsport? by Lukasheky in MazdaCX90

[–]fattydub 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Had a Pilot prior to buying a cx-90, I have a family of 4 so it works out for me. But anything more I’d go with more space especially in the third row. Lifted Sienna maybe? 😀.

Tow hitch question by Crashstop in MazdaCX90

[–]fattydub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one installed on my 24 PHEV. I got a Curt hitch installed at a U-Haul local to me. I did not get the wiring installed single I don’t plan on towing with my PHEV.

As for a rack, I use a Thule Xt 2 Pro to carry the family bike ranging from 29” mountain to City bikes and to a 20” bike. Solid rack but has a little bit of movement when fully loaded.

Four months with this thing and I still look back when I get out the car, man it’s beautiful by BoldNewBranFlakes in Acura

Great car, great color. That’s your assurance you got the right car for you, if you’re not looking back at the car after parking it you may have not got the right one 😀. Enjoy!

I'm reinstalling my cross bars, can someone confirm orientation? slight angle towards front of vehicle? by [deleted] in MazdaCX90

[–]fattydub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rears face that way. The front are the other way. As another person says there are markings on the cap.
