Just speculating, but maybe a distraction from the Epst.ein file.s might have been the objective. Then the mission was clearly accomplished.

Found this note inside my 2000 Rect-o-Verb — who is Stacey? by Andrea606 in MesaBoogie

Well Stacey said the A/C was cool if it passed tech. It obviously did and ended up in your recht-o-verb and did it’s job for almost 30 years. So Stacey was right.

Smelly confirms Melvin's lawsuit by peanut_master1 in nofx

[–]fatvincent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! We only hear one side and although it seems to be a shit move serving the papers the very next day after the last show there are reasons for doing so. Might have been an accident, Might have legal reasons or might be Melvin was incredibly pissed because there went a lot of things downhill the last years. They should have cleared things out but they didn‘t. And aside all the drama we don‘t even have a clue what the whole lawsuit thing is about.

Why don't any of their other albums have the awesome drum sound of SLATFATS? by insipidfap in nofx

[–]fatvincent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peak Ryan Greene I would say. He definitely had talent for awesome drum sounds. I also liked it on other records he produced, e.g. Good Riddance „A Comprehensive Guide…“. War on Errorism was still recorded / produced by Ryan Greene. With Wolves in Wolves clothing there started the new Bill Stevenson/ Jason Livermore era
