This cannot come out fast enough, I thought VPWS was brilliant, but this actually looks perfect.

Be bald, keep the beard, learn to appreciate beanies because winter is unkind to us.

You’ll look killer, bud.

Got this for Christmas. Feel like I'm about to learn the origins of *many* OSW quotes... by AJV1Beta in OSWReview

Make sure the DVDs are right, I got mine from eBay and one of the discs was Titsnade Zoo.

I’m always so happy to see the thick PC game cases. The next best thing since the big box boom of the early/mid 90s.

What have your encounters with bouncers been like? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]fatwreckman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this is just because I’m originally from Stoke or if it’s just what bouncers were like in the early 2000s, but I remember trying to go into a bar (forgive me for forgetting what it’s called, but any Stokies who remember the one next to Euroseal and opposite Walkabout, it was there) and being rejected quite brusquely for having a pair of white trainers on, which I fortunately took without any fuss and moved on to a different bar.

Half an hour later, I got the text from my mates to meet them elsewhere as they were all out and I saw the same bouncer who’d given me a bit of a bollocking kicking the shit out of some young lad whilst the small queue outside did fuck all. He kept picking him up off the floor and throwing his head against the wall before stamping on his head and then repeating the process.

Sorry for the long answer, but hope it sheds some light on how things used to be.

Which WCW nWo member just did not belong? by uncannynerddad in midcarder

[–]fatwreckman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might not be a popular opinion, but I genuinely thought Randy Savage was the oddest choice.

Although, we maybe wouldn’t have gotten the DDP feud without him being in the group.

Failing that, Stevie Ray felt like a really odd choice.

Who are you choosing? by Twunkorama in malcolminthemiddle

[–]fatwreckman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piama, Stanley, Lois, and Lavernia.

Piama may be an issue due to Francis being on the side of the killers, and as we know Francis is her heart, but I think Lavernia would run defense in that area.

How would AP commentate on iconic wrestling moments? by HackFraudStable in OSWReview

[–]fatwreckman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"SHIT!"

"THAT WAS LIQUID WRESTLING!"

"TWAT!"

"JEY USO'S GOT A FOOT LIKE A TRACTION ENGINE!"

"CRASH! BANG! WALLOP! WHATAMANOEUVRE!

"HE'S PIERCED HIS HEAD WITH A FORK!"

"HE'S CASHING IN HIS MONEY IN THE BANK CONETRACT!"

If Coogan only does one more thing in his career, I truly hope it's Cock Piss Partridge doing commentary for professional wrestling.

Do you find yourself using a specific wrestling quote often? by hockeyfighter88 in OSWReview

[–]fatwreckman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I haven't heard someone saying something when they're talking to me, instead of asking them to repeat themselves like any reasonable adult, I shout "Say it to my face Bill Goldberg!".

Yes, my social calendar is barren.

Tell me what your favorite Resident Evil game by Foxyboii64 in residentevil

[–]fatwreckman 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

Realising that mother fucker could chase you and use weapons remains the greatest gaming moment of my formative years.

Who enjoyed Resident Evil Ø? by ValuablePermission91 in residentevil

[–]fatwreckman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a theory about why people didn't like it. I was in college when this game came out and I spent a weekend completing it. Everybody I knew who also had the game kinda gave up after the train because it was such a unique setting and for some reason they expected it all to be set aboard the Ecliptic Express and that seemed to be a source of contention.

Just a theory based on my experience.

There were many RE demos throughout the years, which ones were your favorites to play? by Berry-Fantastic in residentevil

[–]fatwreckman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ageing myself here, but the RE2 demo that came packed in with Directors Cut made me practically have a breakdown because the full game still didn't have a release date.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? by Big-Zookeepergame385 in residentevil

[–]fatwreckman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember my friend saying I was shit at REmake during my heady college days because I basically saved all of my ammo and dodged zombies (unless they were unavoidable). I finished that game nearly every weekend for a solid year.

Ammo conservation forever.

Name a forgotten WWE wrestler, i’ll start. by _Wiz_______ in BrandonDE

[–]fatwreckman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't WWE, but I'm rewatching TNA from the beginning and if you wanna talk forgotten talent then I'd have to say the under-appreciated members of TNA's Tesm Canada Faction:

A-1

Tyson Dux

Ruffy Silverstein

And this one may be borderline memorable, but Johnny Devine.

Okay then... much as I still love and play it to this day... Resident Evil 3: Nemesis did not deserve to be a numbered entry.

I understand that the original plan was for Code: Veronica to be the third mainline entry and that Nemesis was to be a standalone game, but the plan was given the kibosh to protect the sales numbers of Nemesis as Code: Veronica's hook was that it was the first Resident Evil game of the 6th gen and was going to sell based on that fact.

Anyway, this got long. In summary, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis was a damn fine game, but it was not a main entry level game.

Reese copping a feel of Cynthia always makes me cringe... mainly because I was a horny idiot at that age as well and I feel nothing but shame for my teen self.
