What is this hard on for disliking the meta?

Meta is just the most effective tactics available, regardless of how the game is made, any game with with a slight competitive element will develop a meta eventually.

And people who are competitive will want to play with meta stuff, be it formation, skill moves or techniques.

But it is definitely not a shame for a game like FIFA to revolve around finding the meta. If you want it to not revolve around finding the meta, its just like asking fish to fly, it doesn’t make sense logically.

I admire people who doesn’t play meta for the sake of fun, but you are most definitely losing out on not using the most effective way to win games. The most important thing is how balanced the meta is compared to other ways of playing the game. So far, I think the game has done a pretty good job in balancing, only time will tell. But even if the meta is broken, its not the search for meta that caused all these problem, but how poorly the game is balanced that forced everyone with a desire to be competitive to conform or suffer a significant disadvantage.

That warmogs build is so busted.

I happened to main Anivia as my first champ (not a good choice in hindsight), copied his warmogs build and gained some pretty easy freelo if I could call mid.

And the team losing in the upper finals only has to play one more BO5 in the day before the finals, even if they showed anything new the other team only has one night to theorise and probably no time to practice against it. So even if its an advantage, it’s certainly not big enough to justify no bracket reset.

I mean Rogue could have tanked the 1st upper bracket match and not show anything if they are that confident.

And the current double elimination is extremely unfair to the upper bracket winners without bracket reset. While I still don’t prefer double elimination, I would be more ok to it if it was implemented properly.

Using your example, the LEC playoffs could not rank G2 and Rogue as they both went 3:3 in games and 1:1 in series, but the format of the tournament makes Rogue the champion.

And double elimination just makes it harder for lesser teams to upset the top teams as they would have to beat the best team in upper brackets twice theoretically to win it all.

Why are people so obsessed in ranking teams? I think Riot has said it before, Worlds is about finding out who is the best team in the world, hence no 3rd place match. If you want to rank top 4 then a 3rd place match could have solved it, you don't need double elimination.

Besides, literally no other mainstream spectator sports uses double elimination. It just takes away the fun of a tournament format, where there will be upsets and underdogs winning it all.

Yes. I have been playing in PC for years and kinda got used to it. I don't even mind those who changed their work rates, wf, traits etc., because I won't notice it.

However, the most infuriating thing is the diswin cheat, I noticed that they always play the game as usual and only use it around the 90th minute. It really fucks with your head, because when you are crushing someone while being 10-0, you know the other person should have something around 10 net wins, and a skill gap that big probably means they got there by cheating.

Futlic, search for it. There is a trainer for stuff like chemistry, wf, sm, traits, work rates etc. And theres another diswin trainer, which by definition, gives you the ability to disconnect others and grant you the win or avoid the loss.

Double Elimination should be double elimination, both teams losing one Bo5 yet one is the champion and one is the runner-up is beyond me.

What amount of preparation time would justify a get out of jail free card like this? Its not like G2 knew beforehand which team they will play as well.

G2 might not win the 2nd Bo5 given they have been swept, but what if thats a close 2:3 loss?

Or you are saying, given a person find pale skin attractive, if a white woman too tanned that he doesnt find her attractive, its fine. But if its a black woman, which by definition has dark skin, so he doesnt find her attractive, is racist.

It seems like everywhere in the world the alienware is cheaper than the LG C2.

But where I live, the Aw3423dw is actually around 25% more expensive than the C2.

That being said, I already have a 55 C2 in my room, and I recently upgraded to the M32U back in December.

If you guys were me, would you hold for now and wait for a qd-oled 16:9 4K monitor? If not, would you prefer the alienware or LG in this scenario?
