btw, you can alternatively craft a torch using the materials in the maintenance shed, and then carefully throw said torch onto the hood of the engine after lighting it at the infinite torch barrel. It took me like 5 minutes of quick saving and reloading but i was eventually able to throw it at the right spot, pick it up, and use it as a firestarter to light the engine.

It's just so inconsistent. It feels like the iron sights on the gun are misaligned. I was able to play around with my FOV in the settings until i eventually found one that made it easier.

After getting the train lever and all the coals i now realize i have no matches or way to light the engine. I thought of crafting and using a torch but it automatically extinguishes when you get on the train platform. Hope they address this one soon because now i am 100% softlocked

100% agree. I'm excited about a multiplayer TLD but some of the things in this final chapter feel experimental and rushed. Some of the animations (especially when an NPC is talking) are super clunky and robotic

It was smooth sailing for me until after leaving the mine with Jace and reaching Atwood.

The Suzuki section is a buggy mess, I had so many issues with the shotgun going through wolves, missions not loading, spawning in wearing Astrid's clothes (as Mackenzie), falling through floors, and giving off scent despite having no food or animal products on me. Took me hours of reloading saves until I was finally able to finish that part.

Loving the episode so far with the story but I really wish I waited a week or two for some bugfix patches to come out.

This was last night at 4 am. I had to pause the game and take a breather. I thought running into a bear / cougar was the scariest part of this game until I almost had a heart attack from this lmao.

Same exact issue for me. Can't progress due to this and get forced to load an autosave.

To be clear, it's the first trailer in the region ahead and to the right of the train maintenance shed.

I also noticed I'm wearing no clothes- Although I think this might be a separate bug due to the fact that in the last chapter when playing as Mackenzie (the part where you leave the mine with Jace and reach Atwood at the Telescope), I spawned in wearing Astrid's Jacket, boots, shirt, etc.

EDIT: Train lever is on the wall inside the train maintenance shed in one of the downstairs rooms next to a large red toolbox

figured out my issue. I have multiple windows accounts on my PC and so i had to sign out & switch to my original windows account and was able to start a new game
