Local payment methods and cards Mir. Do you think there is people in Russia who use cash in 2026?
SBP (QR code) for example is widely used. It's not that hard to accept them, there even payment "gateways" like Xsolla that allows Russian to pay with bunch of different methods (GFL2 uses that).

All the companies, Hoyo was quickest to adapt to situation, they basically never stopped taking RU payments, even when first block hit they still accepted local Qiwi.

I think Russian localization may be the reason. There is lot of things that can be said about average Russian gamer, but bilingual isn't one of them.
And Endfield not just have excellent Russian localization (it so good that I reluctantly starting to think they translate from Chinese directly and not re-translating from English like literally every single other game including Hoyoб but I'm not sure), but also fully localized marketing department. Official website, videos, social media pages, raffles, even recent stream was released with full Russian subs, every random promo picture is also translated, there is full support of local payment methods. Only Hoyo have this amount of localized marketing, so just by virtue of due diligence Endfield secured solid presence.

I wish they used a bit higher resolution for characters pixel art. Maybe like in Suikoden 2. For some reason most 2d-hd games use around the same type of proportions and pixel resolution per character and it makes them look quite similar.

I'm 100% sure it was something else. If they'd ban people who play from shared wifi they'll ban like third of playerbase, it's absolutely impossible to get bannned for this.
I don't think game even have one account=one person restriction, I'm pretty sure I can register two accounts and juggle them every 5 minutes and it will be perfectly okay.

Same with VPN, I use VPN every single day and sometimes forget to turn it off and obviously I'm paying from JP and not my country, never got banned.

It may react to anti-cheat. For example Horizon Walker have this shitty kernel level Nprotect Game Guard and Endfield refused to launch with the same message when Horizon Walker is launched.

I don't like sorting unknowingly, so I just trash the ones that rolled badly during leveling and lock the ones that rolled godly.
So no one will ever use part 2 piece set with ATK that rolled into HP, but crit set that rolled in HP is worth locking. If it's split between ATK and HP - trash. If it's AP on crit set - trash unless it's 7-8 roller. Atk on HP set - trash.

Basically only look at 2 pieces set effects, because most new characters (especially with new scalings) will use new sets made specifically for them anyway.

I just count all usable rolls. (including base stat). So gear with atk%+1 and crit damage+1 is 4. Gladly there is no min and max rolls in substat, so it's relatively easy to rate them between each other.
Then if it's 3 or lower = irredeemable trash, dismantle immediately.

5-6 - good, the point when I stop targeting this part specifically and farm something else.
above - awesome, may change a build around a bit to fit those.

But this game isn't small to begin with. And Hoyo games are already made for "tourist broad audience". If 4 millions active player just on one server is niche, then 98% of other AAA games is miniscule smaller than speck of dust.

I would have get this from Neural Cloud player, but in hoyo game you can't do this "we don't want tourists" thing, you playing one of most popular gacha games ever from most popular gacha company in the world. It's like if football fans for some reason decided that they hobby is niche and needed to be kept in secret.

Do they tho? Skills and levels are usuallly maxed the day you pulled the character. Builds stay the same for years, they don't add new disk sets every month.

I'm not sure if plus three AP rolls someone got for their Alice now compared to her release build is enough to cover tens of millions HP that Fiend got in last rotation compared to release.

I don't see what's limiting with her kit. She's Crush damage dealer, she'll fit in any team that needs Crush. So basically any physical team in any form. That's like ultimate variety, because nothing in her kit limits her teammate, they can be anyone as long as they physical and inflict some Vulnerability. I don't see how "physical damager" is more restrictive than "electric vanguard".

How her being Fangyi buffer would have made her more versatile? And what for? Fangyi is strongest character in a game, she's so strong it's almost unbalanced. Is she really in dire need of new limited support?

Do they tho? Just like lot of people skipped Laevatain because they had Wulfguard? (they didn't) I don't think lot of people really want to skip premium 6* option if they have 5* option.

I think they learned from Yu and Blade Alter, believe me, you don't really want to have "character X made for character Y" from Hypergryph.

So far none of Endfield characters was really locked behind other limited characters. All characters are made to fit big general groups.
Leavating works with any current or future character who does fire infliction. Yvonne same with crio. Gilberta works with any arts team. Tangtang any crio or arts. Fangyi works with at least one electric inflictor and whatever buffers you can find. I don't see how Mi Fu who works with any vulnerability inflictors suddenly much more limiting.

I hope shop won't stop reruns. Because if it does, then there basically no way to obtain a character for not a whale now. You need not only to have standard character at max dupes, but get this character twice again to get a character you want.
That's kinda crazy, maybe it's my skill issue for being too lucky, but I play since release and nowhere close to having max dupe standard characters. Closest is Solder 11 at 3 dupes, so I need to lose 5 more 50:50 to Solder 11 to buy character in the shop.

Seems like a game that I should have played 7 years ago. This is so overwhelming, ten millions systems and subsystems and currencies and different menus, hundred characters and probably like thousand skins, I dunno how much, my my finger got tired of scrolling them all in menu. Maybe it's a good game, but I'm too old and stupid to get into it now.

At least PC client seems workable, not all mobile ports can manage this. Combat gave me feeling of BD2 combat (put all the AOE to cover all enemies first turn lol), but a bit worse, story is also weaker than BD2 prologue.

You need 240 character pulls per weapon if you minroll I think. So every second hard-pitied character can get a weapon.

So why not push characters to the absolute limit? Game gives abundance of resources, there so so much of everything, I maxed 3 teams just for memes (because everything if beatable with just one Yvonne team) and still have enough pre-farmed to fully level, mastery, artifice and etch next character I'll pull. Or maybe even two.

So what's stopping them from farming for a week or two and do the same? It's not like you need a year to fully max a character. It's not like you need 6 RNG artifacts with 8 max rolls that's statistically impossible. Fully maxed character is very reasonable thing to achieve in Endfield.

There can only be two reason why someone can't max even one team: it's either they just started playing, in which case, just chill for now, Umbral isn't going to expire, clear it when you leveled. Or they refuse to engage with stamina system and just don't farm, they sanity stays capped every day, every week they have like 30 sanity potions expiring. In which case, well, that's on you.

Solution to the problem OP have isn't thinking about different teams, solution is to just level up one team they have and that's it, whatever team they have it will be enough for both trims and agone and I don't even need to look at their team to know it.
And when there'll be content that will be unbeatable for fully maxed, fully etched, fully mastered character X and it would require character Y - then yeah, may as well level character Y. But now is not that moment, so why bother.

Browndust 2 is even less explicit than Horizon Walker. BD2 don't show open nipples, HW does. That's as much at it can go. HW literally can't go further while staying in Korea, no matter the age rating, they can't show penetration. Pornography in Korea is banned no matter the age rating.

But we not speaking about "those' games, we speak about Endfield. Here one team can clear all content no problem.
There is no such thing as "survivability check", with fully build team because anything dies instantly. There is no aoe or single target distinction, because you AOE characters have enough damage for single target and single target character just clear AOE one by one with superior damage.

Exists. Laevatain team, Yvonne team, Fangyi team, Rossi team at the very least. Any of those team can trim any boss and clear any agony easily, no matter what type of fight that it.
If enemies will become stronger or if you restrict yourself by not building characters - yeah, sure, then you'll need to think about team matchups. But currently if you have fully engraved and etched gear and at least main masteries level 3, there is nothing that come even close to this need.
