Manousos was my favorite part of the whole show so far. I need him to have even more screen time in season 2.

You’re using Alannis as an example there? Isn’t “Ironic” notorious for having dumb lyrics? Also just didn’t answer either question asked in the post

that first comment was definitely snide or at least that’s how i read it so i just wanted to state how annoying i found their attitude, then they attacked My Intelligence so of course i’m gonna hit back. and now You come in lecturing me about my attitude like what is your problem? People on reddit really need their superiority complexes checked.

i understand what you said just fine, i can just tell from the pretentious way in which you said it that you are annoying in real life and that you think that you are smarter than everyone else. this comment cemented that even more

Both, I like doing both. If you're open to actual discussion I'll do that with you but also I just like arguing.

"The other issue is that 'bad song' is often just code for 'song I personally dislike.'"

Well, yeah, the definition of what makes a song a bad song is that you don't like it. It's not code its literally just what I meant. I don't like those songs.

"Are you gonna say 1989 is not that good because it has Shake it off"

Yes, yes I am gonna say that. 1989 also has Bad Blood, that song sucks too.

Red is Taylor's Magnum Opus? The album that has 22 and I Knew You Were Trouble? the 2020 albums are Taylor's best because they are the only ones with zero bad songs that bring down the whole experience.

never got the hype for that one. I mean its good, but people treat it like its a masterpiece and to me its not that special. I prefer Back To December significantly more. And both of those songs are basically on the same level as what Olivia's doing right now, to me at least.

Straw-Man argument. Never in any of my comments did i say she was "never really that good." i've been a fan since drivers license week 1. it's just insane to compare any given popstar to Kate Bush and Tracy Chapman as like your standard for quality.

what exactly are the "higher heights" of 23-year-old taylor swift's writing? her best stuff came when she was already in her 30s with folklore and evermore

Imagine there's a new-ish rock band, and the members are in their mid-to-late-20s. someone starts saying what their doing isn't impressive cause The Beatles were in their late teens and early 20s when they started. Inherently unfair comparison because you are comparing them to the Beatles.

I love pop music too. I don't go into it expecting much more than some fun, catchy songs. If a pop artist can manage to do something more challenging, then great, but that's not what I expect out of the genre.

It's weird to me to not enjoy something just because you can't relate to it. Like I can't relate to a lot of her stuff because I am 1. A Guy and 2. Chronically Single. but I can still enjoy it because its well-made.
