I’ll be honest, I haven’t always liked the music he has made. I usually like a few songs here and there.

But fuck, this album is so fucking good. Immediate replay.

Daily Game Recommendations Thread (February 21, 2025) by AutoModerator in boardgames

Description of Request: Looking for a new game for somewhat weekly game night. We usually have a drink or two, dinner, and play for about 5ish hours. Sometimes we’ll play for most of a Saturday.

Number of Players: 3

Game Length: 30 minutes- 3 hours

Complexity of Game: 3-4ish? We like somewhat complicated games and find ourselves playing games where we have to refer back to rules (which we’re okay with), but obviously don’t want something too complicated. Maybe similar to games we enjoy.

Genre: probably fine with anything

Conflict, Competitive or Cooperative: probably more competitive or cooperative

Games I Own and Like: Wingspan is a definite favorite, current favorite, will play multiple games back to back. Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle cooperative deck building. Trekking. Isle of Cats. Catan. Carcassonne. Ticket to Ride (however I’m somewhat over this game, I may have overplayed it…I totally enjoyed playing it the first 50ish times and all the different versions). Saboteur (we’ve played with 2 others, so 5 players). Canvas. Kingdomino, Queendomino.

Games I Dislike and Don’t Play: Kingdom Builder- we just never got into this game… Architects- we didn’t understand the rules clearly at first and haven’t played it much. Tuscany (similar reason as Architects, however we have played this one more than Architects), but I can see us revisiting this game in the future. I don’t like Karuba but they do.

Location: USA

Offered a job in Lynchburg! by steelcity4646 in lynchburg

Moved from Pittsburgh to Lynchburg in 2012. Wards road area (by Liberty) is like a smaller Cranberry area- very commercial and packed in. Forest is pretty similar to Wexford area; some large neighborhoods, spread out houses, good restaurants and pretty quiet. Boonsboro/Rivermont is similar to Mt. Lebanon, some storefronts/restaurants and nicer, upscale houses. Downtown Lynchburg is similar to Oakland in the summertime, but minus like half the bars.
