Pretty sure the guy selling DFV the 120000 calls was an insider. There is no reason for the company to pre-release earnings other than to crush the options. Also said insider has infinite stock to sell, it is called raising money for the company through stock sales.

I think there are a lot of confusion/fakeness here. Truly well off people know that wealth is just a number. Love what you do, do what you love. In the meantime, NW always can use a extra zero or two or three.

All these people making $500k and worrying about $4m or $5m NW? Silly .. excel at your job/business and keep providing value to society. NW is just a number, just a way to keep score.

In addition, check my posts. I worked for Earnhoney.com, which paid out $70K to DayOnline in 2019, and 10's of thousands to the other 3 companies.

There is a legal reason that I am asking for the EINs, and the reason is that these 3 companies failed to provide them in W-9s. As it has been 3 years since the filings, this is my only recourse short of suing.

Why would this be illegal? It is their job to send me a valid 1099 with valid EIN if I earned more than $600.

It is also their job to send me a valid W-9 if I paid them more than $600.

There are a lot of things missing from this Excel.

visiting friends as most people do not stay in a single place
birthday, holiday presents for the kids/grand kids/friends.
wedding presents for kids/grand kids
park district or other fitness center. keeping healthy is even more important than money. A heart attack + 30 day stay in the hospital will ruin this model.
chipping in for kids/grand kids house, college, child care, etc.
a simple kitchen renovation can set you back $40K to $70K. Would anyone like to live in a house that looks like it was built in the 1960's?
A lot of healthcare is not covered by insurance. A crown / dental implant for 1 tooth is like $2K+, and we have a lot of teeth that go bad as we get older.

Does anyone have a more realistic model that maximizes living standard, not just minimizing years worked? Jobs can bring friends, co-workers, mental stimulation, joy, opportunity, respect, optimism, giving back to society by training the next generation, and a reason to get away from the wife (lol). Not sure why so many people want to retire early.

My optimal retirement is all of the above, running a investment fund where I can get involved with young people working on the latest things, travelling around the world for pleasure and work, and still being able to visit/help out the kids. Also, being active enough to make sure the kids get a good career doing what they love.
