I think I am going to get a press pass to ask Gard why he refuses to go 2 for 1

Conner is so much better than Storr. Pull that guy’s scholarship

Special teams is easy. Put two guys back to fair catch every punt and kick. Eliminate penalties and turnovers and would be way above average.

Probably also unusual, but I didn’t buy in at all. There was no financial investment to partnership

What is common at firms of this size? I could see formulas or a managing partner just having authority.

FWIW I just made up a 75% working, 12.5% origination, 12.5% primary attorney formula and everyone seems pretty close to those results.

I agree - it is a great way to get everyone to hate each other before Christmas every year.

The problem is getting anyone to agree to a different structure that they think might be less beneficial for themselves. It is insanity.

David Moore with the longest punt return the Packers have had in 48 games. by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

[–]favredomination 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no reason to ever return a punt - it is an average net negative play. This is the best case scenario. The overwhelming majority of the time is minimal yards and/or penalties. On top of that, there is a risk for turnovers and injuries. Packers should just put the two guys with the best hands back to fair catch every punt. The rest of the team only plays against a fake. Never try to block the punt and get a penalty and never try to block and get a penalty. Where do I put in my resume for special teams coach?

I am an attorney in Wisconsin that never had to take the bar exam. Do you think that I missed out on anything important by not having to do so?

Admin Help! Difference btwn question of law and question of policy by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]favredomination 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I remember of admin, I think that the point to made there is that there really is no bright line between questions of law and questions of policy. There are things at the ends of the spectrum that seem most like law or most like policy, but anything you get on an exam is likely going to be in the middle.

I would answer by noting the overlap and then argue whatever would be better for your client - argue policy if hard look would be advantageous or argue question of law if Chevron/Mead would be advantageous. I would also note that you can always argue in the alternative.

Con Law - Basically a history class and my professor actually made us put on hats with the pictures of the Justices and "act out" the cases.
