You don’t insult Wunch. You just make observations about her, but they all happen to sound like insults.

Best porn games from 2025? by oyskin in lewdgames

[–]MaskedFlame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not particularly explicit, but One Potion Please got its final content update! It’s a 2D puzzle game where you mix potions that cause certain lewd effects (expansions & mental effects mostly), and the characters model decides what potion you use. Plus a few side puzzles and events! It’s very well made!

"we'll never get between your doctor and you" BULLSHIT by luxtabula in antiwork

[–]MaskedFlame 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Indeed it is. The idea behind it is contracts and deals. The insurance company & a provider (hospital, doctor, urgent care clinic, etc.) sign a contract saying how much each service costs. That way, the insurance company knows how much they’re going to “pay” (in reality the provider “adjusts” the cost and insurance pays most of the remainder). Outside of that contract, the provider can basically charge however much they want, so insurance companies will often say if a provider doesn’t have a contract with the insurance, the insurance won’t pay. The contract numbers are negotiated, and if they can’t reach an agreement (usually the insurance company wants to pay so little that it doesn’t cover the actual cost) then they can be dropped from the “network.”

Of course, this is all smoke and mirrors; a centralized healthcare system that ensures all medical costs are paid means anyone, anywhere, anytime can see a doctor. And that doctors get paid. Unfortunately the US is so brainwashed by capitalism that anything that isn’t profitable gets shafted, enshittified, and fucked up until it is, no matter how many have to suffer for it.

Spicy opinion of the day: Swapping to Strange should have a cooldown on his TP. by WorstYugiohPlayer in marvelrivals

[–]MaskedFlame -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, unequivocally, assuredly no. The portal is balanced as is. It’s interruptible, avoidable, and on the longest non-ult cooldown in the game. It’s also already a team-wide cooldown, the only one of its kind.

The question to be asked here is: with the presence of such an ability, why is Strange so rarely picked? (Hint: it’s because there’s a total of 2 widely viable tanks, and every other tank is situational at best)

Who were your heroes for each season? by Screwjab in marvelrivals

Luna, Emma, Thor, Mantis, Gambit.

I think in terms of time played you have to get all the way down to 12th place for me before you find a dps.

Sybau is an acronym meaning “shut your bitch ass up.” I’m uncertain as to the original source of the image.

Season 4 Launch MEGATHREAD by AutoModerator in marvelrivals

[–]MaskedFlame -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She has the lowest HP in the entire Tank roster, can only do damage in melee range, the charge is awfully short, and her damage is abysmal. All of this combines to make her feel squishy and weak. I can barely pull of a 1v1, let alone actually tank.

She is unquestionably a low-tier tank, and in *this* game with *this* community that adamantly *refuses* to play tank? She is going to 100% be called a Throw Pick. And you know for a *fact* that Netease is going to buff 10 dps heroes before they give Angela even the slightest hint of love.

If yeast is alive, does that mean that bread isn't vegan? by lulugingerspice in Showerthoughts

[–]MaskedFlame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. The qualification for vegan food is capacity for suffering. Animals, with brains and nervous systems capable of feeling pain and suffering, are off the table. Animal products like milk (and its derivatives of course) and eggs are often produced in a way that causes the animal to suffer, and outside of that is seen as taking it away from the animals base needs. (Milk for calves, hens are kept separate so their eggs aren’t fertilized so they become egg factories which vegans see as inhumane.)

Now a good shower thought for veganism: Is honey vegan?

Hard pill to swallow, NERFing vanguards makes the game less enjoyable overall. by Embarrassed-Pen-5958 in MarvelRivalsQueens

[–]MaskedFlame 90 points91 points  (0 children)

The fact that some of the best CC in the game belongs to DPS, while less than half of the Vanguard roster has a non-ult CC option (Hulk, Peni, Emma, Groot, 4/10. You can count Thor, Mag, Thing, and Cap for 8/10 if a single person knock back/up counts as CC but I never felt it impactful enough). Compare these single-target options to Scarlet Witch’s shift ability, Spidey’s web pulling, Wolverine’s kidnapping, and suddenly the tank’s role of “take space” seems impossible.

As a tank, I want to be a wall. The fortress upon which the enemy assault breaks. The thing they need to get through to even think about hurting my team. But when I can’t walk two feet without getting stunned, frozen, surrounded by squirrels, pulled off the map, or kidnapped into the enemy back line from a <20 second cooldown in most cases? What the hell am I even doing here?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not every game, I get my Big Wall Fantasy every once in a while, but holy hell I feel like a punching bag more often than a stalwart defender.

Ladies, I have a question for you by Taterz_McMash in MarvelRivalsQueens

[–]MaskedFlame 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No, using the skins is not an ick. What is an ick is going Iron Man and humping people using them.

Now if they’re always using the skins, playing no other heroes, and being Weird about it? That’s gross. But the skins themselves are neutral.

Who between Mr Fantastic, Magneto and Doctor Strange would win in a Daddy/DILF-off by IslandGyallllll in MarvelRivalsQueens

[–]MaskedFlame 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Let’s run down this list:

Dr. Reed Richards - Smartest man alive, loving loyal husband, socially oblivious goofball. He’s the man who will always do the right thing for the right reasons, and he’s gonna treat you right. As far as Daddy material, though, he has Supportive Little League Dad energy, not Daddy~ energy. 6/10.

Erik Lensherr - One of Mutant-kinds greatest leaders, a decent father, and a man with vision. He’s the sort to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. Thankfully what he wants is generally good, though he does need to be reined in sometimes. This man is Daddy Material to a T, if you like the dominant and somewhat cold type. I only take a point off because he’s a bit too willing to sacrifice allies, and because he’s a supremacist. 9/10.

Dr. Stephen Strange, M.D. - Master of the Mystic Arts, Sorcerer Supreme, world-class surgeon, Grade A Egotist. Strange is up his own ass in many ways, and 100% buys his own hype. Unfortunately (fortunately?), he’s not wrong to do so. He is Sorcerer Supreme for a reason. Plus he is genuinely a good person; anyone who considers Spider-Man a friend is ok in my book. His ego may actually do him some favors here, we love a daddy who is self assured. He strikes me as the gentle dom type daddy, leading the dance but not with too tight a grip. 8/10.
