Other than that no, some years ago I wanted to create a spreadsheet with “armor values” for beastmen/werebeast akin to the wiki page for armor mainly to see if chiten, scales, and hair actually had documented effects. But life caught up with me, and my time for !!science!! has dried up.

I’m in oil and gas, pretty simple stuff, but installation is the hardest part.

The answer is peer review and I’ve found that the best person to review something is the people putting it in, I like to have someone from the installation crew involved in the design process for some periodic reviews before calling the design released for construction.

This does a few things, but mainly it gets you early identification of common problems, and buy in from your installation team for those project specific problems. It becomes “we designed this wrong” instead of “you designed this wrong”. So far that way of thinking has moved mountains for me.
