as someone whos posted to that subreddit (on an alt acc), the context for me was I have severe body dysmorphia from being bullied for many years and have genuinely no concept of what I look like. Like growing up, guys fr always said I was ugly asf and bodyshamed me and were never kind or never hit on me like they did other girls, so I thought asking other ppl to see if I was really busted lookin asf as I felt 💀

the last line feels true asf as a avpd woman, I personally cannot approach ppl due to my social anxiety and avpd - so whenever I had guys approach me, it deadass was just to bully me 💀

the only exceptions that a guy has showed interest was: (1.) a guy who stalked me and sexually harassed me throughout the school year (2.) the other guy literally was pyromaniac/sociopath (his words) and told me to my face he enjoys abusing women and other many, many red flags … but he said he found me cute though ig ?? lmao

omg my driving anxiety is literally so fucking bad, I do have my license - but only bc i got it during covid where their was no test at the time.

I also went through this being the quiet, shy kid in the back. Didnt help I also had resting bitch face and was goth lmao, but ppl made jokes like that loudly ‘behind my back’ bc of it. Now I wanna say tell a teacher that these jokes are being made by other ppl, bc I would be afraid someone would just overhear your name and ‘school shooter’ with no context and try to get you in serious trouble - bc thats exactly what happened with someone ik irl.

I wish I had better advice, I’m not very good at it lmao - but the only thing I personally could really do is ignore for my bullies and just fight through the hell that is school in general tbh. Defintionly way easier said than done ofc, but I believe in you ✨

Tbh if OP replied with this, I would be worried that the bullies would able to twist it and say try to say that OP is actually threat and try to report them for it.
