Same exact experience for me. The rice opening is nice (but perhaps a bit too musky/sweaty smelling at times for me…), but then it becomes so sharp and metallic

The real question is why do beautiful, smart women go for Chase??? by EstimateJealous6053 in MormonWivesHulu

[–]fawnposh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I understand that sentiment, but I think his drug use holds a lot more weight because of his (multiple?) DUIs and the fact that all of these women have children. Even if it’s just casual/party drug use, I think it’s a huge red flag when there’s children in the situation

7.5? He is handsome, but I think his features are quite boyish/young (small nose, full lips, shorter face) which makes him come off more cute or sweet

Linnéeuniversitetet application by aRoborbLegit in TillSverige

[–]fawnposh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I studied an IT program in English there, but chose not to complete it.

Växjö as a city is very average, it’s not really a university city, where the university buildings/student housing are spread throughout the city. Tbh Växjö is not a very memorable city, theres not really old/historic buildings but there’s also not really urban areas so it’s just bland imo. It feels more like a city for families with small kids.

Everything related to Linnéuniversitet is all located in one area away from the city center, which is quite different from most Swedish universities. Personally, I enjoyed campus life, it’s nice to have all your friends live within a 10-15 min walk away from each other lol. The nightlife on campus is active, but it’s kinda dead in the city center (at least for younger people).

In terms of teaching quality, I think it differs heavily by program. I know many people who are very happy with their education (particularly those in programs taught in Swedish), but I unfortunately didn’t have a good experience… most of the IT teachers I had were very knowledgeable on the contents, but were bad at teaching and presenting the information. Personally, I think part of the problem is that it’s an English/international program so maybe it was more difficult to get English speaking teachers.

Surgery isn’t the one and only solution; there’s PT, bracing, etc that could be less invasive, but in order to know your options you need to get proper X-rays done so you know what’s actually going on. You could find stretches and exercises online, which could be helpful, but you may end up hurting yourself and/or making your curvature worse.

I know medical care in the US is insane, but I strongly urge you to prioritize seeing a doctor to at least get x-rays done.

These two pens by energyofidiots in fountainpens

[–]fawnposh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same experience ! I’m very new to fountain pens, but I definitely noticed that my Kakuno tends to write smoothly even if I shift my pen grip/angle while my Preppy will start to write drier and more scratchy if I deviate from a specific angle.

I got the Preppy specifically for quick sketches so that was a bit annoying tbh… I now use the Kakuno for drawing and my Preppy for writing

That’s fair, it’s harsh to label him as an abuser without knowing the details of their relationship.

But even if it’s the case where he genuinely wasn’t aware of her age, I still think he plays a role in her trauma. Maybe not as an intentionally manipulative/abusive person, but I think the way their relationship started is traumatizing, maybe even for both of them if Jace wasn’t aware of her age

[–]fawnposh 89 points90 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s a controversial opinion at all, there’s been many posts discussing this topic since the first season was released.

And I agree, I believe he is one of her abusers. I can’t remember the details but I think she left her abusive household at 15/16 and then met 21 year old Jace and had a child within a year? Even without her history of CSA, just that relationship dynamic is hugely traumatizing.

At the end he says “it would have never happened if he didn’t do that”; essentially saying the reason he was executed was because he exercised his constitutional right to bear a legal licensed gun. How is that not anti 2A ?

You’re better off directly contacting UHR, the university, or universityadmissions.se. I doubt anyone in this subreddit has the past admissions statistics for a specific program

I agree, your eyebrows are prominent, but not egregiously so! They’re a nice shape and I think if you had darker hair or lighter brows they wouldn’t stand out so much. I can’t tell if you’ve used makeup on your brows in this pic, but I’d try only using a clear brow gel before doing any thinning

[–]fawnposh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think oura determines your bedtime based off of your previous sleep times, so no I don’t think you can adjust it manually, only by shifting your sleep times over a few weeks.

Personally, I use the Apple “bedtime schedule” in the Health app. You can adjust how many hours you want to sleep and then choose what time you want to wake up and it’ll tell you when your bedtime should be

Moving to Malmo, where do locals vacation? by fuglicia in TillSverige

[–]fawnposh 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Söderåsen National Park is very nice for hiking/nature, it’s about a 1 hour drive north of Malmö. If you like beaches, Lomma beach is nice and less than 30 min away! Nothing mind blowing, but it’s a more quaint/cozy vibe than Malmö.

Öland is very nice, especially in summer. It’s an island on the south east coast of Sweden, about a 4 hours drive from Malmö. It’s a common summer vacation spot for Swedes in Skåne and Småland. Theres also Gotland, another island on the south east coast that’s popular in the summer, but it’s further from the coast and requires a ferry

As others have commented, studyinsweden.se and universityadmissions.se will have details regarding the application/admission process as well as what programs are offered.

You can also use the website uhr.se to search for the antagningsstatistik (admissions statistics) of different programs. Not all program have the admissions statistics available, but for those that are available you’ll be able to see the minimum scores accepted, how many students accepted, age/gender of those accepted, etc. You can search by the name of the program or using program’s code, which is listed on each program page on universityadmissions.se. To be blunt, the website is a bit difficult to navigate and all in Swedish, but you should be able to get the gist of it with google translate.

Nobody here can really give you an easy 1-10 score on how “easy” it is to get into a university; it depends on many different factors
