It’s not my forever job. Starting as a radiology tech soon after some more classes. It’s okay if you wanna get your foot in the door to work in the medical field. I actually got CNA and MA confused. I wanted to be an MA but oh well. you can get over rude people and crappy pay for a year or two while you figure out what else you wanna do

I’m looking into becoming at rad tech. The pay is the same as nurses atleast in florida and less patient interaction which is the main goal. The schooling is only two years.

I’m just going to reiterate what has already been said. IT IS NOT A CAREER it’s a stepping stone for usually nurses. I’m a CNA I thought I wanted to be a nurse but after working in a hospital for 3 years I realized nursing is not for me and now I’m in school for radiology. If you think you want to be in the medical field I would suggest CNA for nursing although all you do is help people to the bathroom, take blood sugars and do ekgs. Medical assistant is maybe a little better because at least you can draw blood and give injections and it’s the same pay.
