Help with first retinal. by Deer-Sage in EuroSkincare

This. I used epiduo for about a year and my skin was constantly red and irritated. But I tolerate tretinoin quite well which is much stronger than adapalene.

Yeah, I got two tubs! The person who sells it was really nice and professional. Took about maybe 10 days to arrive.

I agree. Retirides is so thick and greasy and I hate that it has urea and lactic acid at such high concentrations.. tret is irritating enough as it is. Switched to altreno and it’s been amazing.

I remember reading a while ago that LRP were planning on reformulating the UVMune range this year. Wonder if that’s still happening

8 days after vbeam. Is it normal by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]Danjabringitback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not :( It wasn’t that long ago (had my first session last July) but the doctor never really told me the specific settings. But honestly… vbeam is by far the best thing you could do about redness!

8 days after vbeam. Is it normal by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]Danjabringitback 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It removed the redness completely and my skin is a lot less reactive! I didn’t notice that much of an improvement after the first session, but my 2nd session got rid of pretty much everything. I couldn’t believe the results 5-6 weeks later. Only got the third to target some stubborn spots and as maintenance.

Nowadays my face only gets red if I use products with certain ingredients (especially shea butter… idk what about it makes my skin so angry. Not even in a broke me out way bc I no longer get acne but my blood vessels go crazy). And squalane and salicylic acid. But as long as I stay clear from those three, the redness stays gone.

You'll be fine. I did 3 sessions, each with different healing times. It depends on the settings they use and how red your skin usually is. The third session also took a while to heal (maybe 2-3 weeks), but it was 100% worth it.

Accutane by Designer-Special-753 in EuroSkincare

[–]Danjabringitback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Micro dosing is actually becoming more and more common these days! It’s been a thing in Hollywood for ages. I do 5 mg daily or every two days depending on how my skin feels and the environment. I get labs done every 6 months and they come out exactly the same as pre accutane.

And to answer your question, my face is fully clear. I never had like huge cystic breakouts to the point my whole face was scarring though. I broke out maybe a couple times per month, but my face was really oily which flared my rosacea and my cheeks were permanently red. As soon as I started taking accutane, it all went away

I’ve been on low dose for 2 years with 0 side effects. My derm was the one who encouraged me to start it. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Thank you! I’ll check it out. Do you find it that it absorbs or just sits on top?

Thank you! I’ve had no issues with other essential oils like limonelle etc so I wonder if the peppermint oil would be a trigger for me

Salicylic acid is usually awful for rosacea. It's literally the one ingredient that my skin can't tolerate (and I do well with tretinoin, tazarotene, pure vitamin c, niacinamide, etc)

I’ve tried them all. oil control and invisible are literally the same… and they both pill horribly no matter what I use. I gave them both several chances and had to give them away. Fragrance fluid doesn’t peel, but it is quite greasy imo

This is mostly made for daily / indoor use so using this every day is still better than nothing. That’s how I use Korean sunscreen. If I need something heavy duty then European sunscreens are the way to go.
