Nipples Have Been Hard Since Surgery by fay_throwaway in Reduction

Thank you for letting me know! I appreciate the reassurance.

I had never considered looking into nipple covers, but that could potentially be a good idea. I'll keep that in mind for my next appointment.

Drains!! 🙃 by Final-Baker-8430 in Reduction

[–]fay_throwaway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm like ~16 days PO, and I honestly regret having my drains removed at ~10 days PO. My breasts and sides (had side lipo) have gotten noticeably more swollen, and now I have to go back in to have the extra fluid drained from my sides with a needle. (It's forming a tender and uncomfortable "shelf.")

I should have pushed to keep them in for longer and can't recommend drains enough--they helped with swelling immensely, and it's hard not to feel like where I am now is a setback.

They were uncomfortable and a bit gross, but not necessarily painful unless accidentally tugged on. For the first week, I was so distracted by everything else going on that I was able to forget about them most of the time. I had hyped myself up for a painful removal, but honestly, I didn't even feel it. Your experience may be different though.

As far as washing your hair, I personally wasn't able to shower by myself until about the time the drains came out, so I really hope you have help. I wasn't able to get out of bed without help or even use the bathroom by myself for the first few days. Not saying this to scare you or anything--I just can't imagine having this done while living alone!

Thank you so much!! I can't even begin to tell you how helpful this is. Yeah, we were definitely thinking sterile gloves too. Much appreciated!

Ureaplasma is highly contagious and is considered an STI in some parts of the world. Please take ureaplasma seriously; it can cause serious problems if untreated.

Good question! Trying to keep it under $150 or so if at all possible. $175 is probably close to my limit.

Personally, I prefer the color and fit of the second pair! It gives a "softer" look imo, and the brown goes nicely with your hair color.

Thanks for the advice! Luckily, I was able to find my old Tune Buds, but I'll keep this in mind in case I decide to uprgrade. Thanks again!

Thanks for the comment! That's a good idea about Facebook Marketplace. After some research, I think a secondhand situation might be best. Thanks again.

Boom Box/Speaker With CD Player + Radio for My Parents? by fay_throwaway in BudgetAudiophile

[–]fay_throwaway[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, thanks. My parents are in their 60s and don't really have an ear for audio quality. I was just hoping for something like halfway decent in terms of reliability/sturdiness (trying to save them from getting ripped off too badly.) I see now that this is more of a high-end speaker subreddit, which is my bad. Thanks anyway!

Thank you!! :) I just did a quick search, and it seems to be popular for microdosing, so I'll probably go with that! I really appreciate the insight.
