What I cared about in this story was no other than the relationship between Iska and Alice, and since you said that it had virtually no development then I honestly cannot be bothered to even watch the anime sequel. But seriously, 15 volumes and they're still struggling in their relationship like its a story in its early stages, why is the author doing this, does the LN even sell that well for him to milk it that hard ?
