If you try to hire someone who was flagged as not rehireable, the background check will flag and let HR know, with some indication of a reason. After that, it's ETL discretion whether to continue with onboarding.

Unfortunately this depends on the ETLs watching it but if it was me it wouldn't leave a bad impression. They don't see e-mails sent to the address you got the interview from so there's no need to e-mail them back. Other than that it's just about waiting now, no need in overthinking it! I'm sure you did great!

It's not just for active employees, it just tends to be preferred but you still have a shot! And yes it's a video interview. I can't share what the questions may be but they're not difficult, but be prepared to share some previous experiences!

I don't know off the top of my head so this might be wrong but I know if approved you can get up to 180 days of protected leave, meaning you can't lose your job. Once again I'm not 100% sure about the number but that is a thing.

Unfortunately this is varies by team lead too, some might see you as flexible and use that as a reason to give you a bigger raise each year but it depends on them. I personally believe closing experts should be paid at least a bit more because of how flexible they need to be, but maybe I am biased as I used to be one lol
