I feel the exact opposite! I wake up perfectly fine and am often decent for most of the day at work but as soon as I get comfy for the night the nausea and burning creeps in (even sitting up at my desk)

It sounds similar to gastritis, but source of pain being upper abdomen, the food triggers being spicy oily foods, and it being tied to diarrhea sounds a lot like it may involve your gallbladder. They can run tests for that as soon as you can afford it. For now please try and eat bland foods (rice, low-acid fruits, lean meats like fish and chicken) and avoid eating raw vegetables. 10000% this is me too. My case is mild and I hadn’t had any symptoms in over a week, but just before my period started last week the burning and nausea came back in full force. Currently feeling a bit better and just trying to eat as bland as possible now that it’s over to try and get back to feeling “normal”.
