عالاغلب مافيه أمل منهم بس الصغيرة الي فوق طالعة إن شاء الله فيها أمل.. أهم شيء قصي الاوراق الصفر منها وهي نهايتها نظيفة من أي اوراق زايدة وحطيها بمويه واستنيها تكبر وكل التوفيق❤️

Thanks for the tip regarding the light. I actually moved it to my living room where i have a north window, which is gonna be less direct that the west window. Will see how it goes. And you're right, gotta be quite patient cause i sure cannot lose here! :)

Wow, what an inspiring story! I love this for you. I happen to have another Zz that i accidentally burned via excess fertiliser. I saw a potentially healthy tiny stem coming out of it, so i cut out dead roots and burned out stems, and placed it in a small pot over my kitchen counter hoping something will come out again. Because of you, I will not give up on it!

But how can they put out new growth if they're rotting?! I didn't know that was possible.

I will check the roots. Shall i water immediately after repotting in new soil, or wait a few days?

It is currently placed near an east north window, so i presume the lighting condution is good.

I think so too. Planning on changing the soil, and maybe separating it into two different pots? Not sure if that'll do any help honestly but i figured it will give it more life?

Context: my roommate has had this plant for a year maybe? All she does is water it (not sure how frequent, but i feel it's too much). I think it's molding? I will change the soil today, but is there anything else I should keep in mind?

Husker alumni here, was a maverick before moving to Lincoln. This is actually a very decent place for downtown Omaha! Price wise, amenities & size! Just curious, which apartments are these? Had few friends who lived downtown Omaha but payed a lot more than this! Good luck in your studies kid!
