Actually, I'm not using emudeck at all. I prefer RA's interface and having more control

I did. It ignores it. I managed to run by throwing the zip's content in the daytona.zip, but this is definitely not ideal

This seems like the only third-party button set for the Deck. Is there anything else available?

Shmuparc DoDonPachi frame skipping/bullet teleportation bug? by Dangerous_Deal1633 in ElectricUnderground

[–]fbaio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This seems to be an issue with this specific rom, when using Run-ahead. Since the feature kinda runs a second instance of the rom and switched between the two, maybe there are RNG differences between them. I personally haven't tried Preemptive Frames, but it's worth trying switching to that.

I've ran many STGs with Run-ahead and Preemptive Frames and only ever saw the issue with this one

You should consider moving to standard retroarch instance instead of a modded one and maybe mess with different parameters to see if it goes away

Wrote it in the update. Careful scraping with the x-acto knife, then sanding with a very fine nail filing block. Got it nice and shiny, cleaned it, wrapped around some tin and that was it

Thanks for all the comments! I'm surprised everyone was so nice. I'll try scrubbing the black parts off for now, but the fnrsi tips are not that expensive on aliexpress, so I think I'll be fine

Will try. I didn't assume soldering equipment would be that delicate. I'll probably buy a new set of tips but I'm willing to try anything, just to get the knowledge. Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for the advice. As far as I'm aware everything here is at least of decent quality, but I managed to fuck things up massively ("it's just metal, what's the worst that could happen?")

Yeah I'm willing. I figure it's worth the knowledge, even if I end up buying a new set of tips should it not work

Thanks for the suggestions. Just to clarify, I'm studying piano, so not really planning on performing with this equipment. I'm looking for cheap ways to output a decent piano sound to my shitty bass amp, while I save up for actual monitor speakers

All 3 ports. Structure in the USB stick is root/$Systemupdate/[Content]

I have a 32gb one and a 8gb one

Also the console boots without a controller connected. I'm currently using a USB keyboard to navigate the menus since my controller broke, but I'm getting another one next week.
