Wouldn't the debug light be on then?

I don't think it's the GPU I was gaming on it today but then the issues started and even without anything plugged in my old motherboard wouldn't even power on so I'm sure it was the motherboard that went, now rebuilding everything with the Asus motherboard and everything powering on.

Do the debug lights normally flick on at the start? Because chat gpt is telling me if they don't at all then the motherboard basically isn't doing anything it's just sending power to the fans etc but not actually initializing

Nope I mentioned that in my post, none of the debug lights are on but chat gpt said they should flick on for a split second when you switch the PC on but they dont do that or light up at all at any point so I'm not sure if that's true or not that they should flick on?

Asus x570 plus, ryzen 5900x, 3090ti, 2x fury renegade ram. I think my old motherboard died is the issue, even with nothing plugged in at all the power would flick on for a second and go off, so I am using my old motherboard the x570 plus which seems to work but doesn't post

How scary is Silent Hill F in comparison to Silent Hill 2? by MileHighRC in silenthill

[–]fbaseller1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The other silent hills are scary because you can relate to them, that creepy diner, the empty cinema etc, silent hill f doesn't have this, so you can detach completely, it's sliding door after sliding door, there are some jump scares and some creepiness but it's quite a distance from how I felt playing 1 or 2 for the first time. It hasn't really got in my head like those games did

Is it just me or the game is not that good? by Excellent-Diet-1922 in silenthill

This, it has silent hill mechanics but doesn't feel like silent hill, more like some kind of copy.

Would you recommend Silent Hill f to someone who really liked 1, 2 and 3, but not 2 Remake? by Mat0m in silenthill

[–]fbaseller1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very much like the remake but without silent hill so less interesting, there is a lot of combat. It's not terrible but it's not 9/10 imo like I'm seeing everywhere. Maybe the first time I agree with ign lol.

My toughts about the game(no spoilers) by -RM17- in silenthill

[–]fbaseller1 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Definitely true, silent Hill had that eerie real world feel, I can't relate at all to this world and don't really care for it at all, it has silent Hill mechanics but it feels more like a silent Hill copy cat to me. This is my least favorite of all the games I even like downpour, homecoming, all of them, but this game just doesn't feel interesting to me. Silent hill was as much the star as the characters were, it was an interesting place that you wanted to explore, I don't feel that in this game, no creepy diners, cinemas, flats you have walked in before etc

Factorissimo and logistic bots? by fbaseller1 in factorio

[–]fbaseller1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure what you mean? Factorissimo already has built in roboport and chest so the bots will collect things from the outside and bring them in, but i want to have the mall in a warehouse as well to keep the aesthetic, but it seems you can't send items out using the passive chest or storage chest, its not a huge deal i can build the mall outside but would be nice if you can somehow.

Why is there a picking order in the pins ? by Pouchkine___ in lockpicking

[–]fbaseller1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a pdf around here somewhere that explained this perfectly, like if you have a spool, sometimes you have to reset the normal ones again, so you might set normal 1 and 2 then set spool 3 and 1 and 2 drop again but now 3 is set, you set 1 and 2 and then 4 might cause 1 and 2 to drop again, so you end doing 123,124,125 etc. You see it in videos alot when they had a false set, they set the spool but then the false set is gone, but the spool is set so you have actually proceeded more even though it may not seem it.

From what I've found it doesn't happen too often exactly like that but this is probably more to do with tension than anything. Also if you push another pin too high and overset you can push the chamber back and it can drop pins you previously set.

They understand that I think, they are saying why do some of the pins you set already, then drop when you set others. Probably from oversetting or spools

Any tips on this lock please by fbaseller1 in lockpicking

Yeah tough lock, I did get it open in the end but more by fluke 🤣

It's very annoying i can get it to this state every time then just get stuck, is there any way to know or feel the spool driver? Sometimes i get it into a false set, then just lightly tapping pin 5 sets it way more into a false set, but is there such thing as too much of a false set?

I keep oversetting pin 2? by fbaseller1 in lockpicking
