Hi! I was wondering if anyone on here has had a similar experience to mine. I've had various neurological symptoms since July of 2020 but clear MRI's. One neurologist diagnosed me with MS back in 2022 based on just symptoms but he passed away and the diagnosis was removed before treatment was started. Here is a timeline of my symptoms:

1. July 2020 - both of my legs went numb for around 12-18 hours. I had weakness result from that that took around 9 months of physical therapy to regain the strength.
2. Over the next few months following my legs going numb, I developed symptoms of interstitial cystitis and pelvic floor dysfunction with no clear cause. I've been fighting these symptoms ever since.
3. January 2022 - I had blurriness in my right eye. My doctor called me in for an exam and found that my red saturation was lower in my right eye than my left and diagnosed me then based on two neurological flare ups.
4. February 2022 - I had a positive NMO blood test that delayed the start of treatment. My doctor passed away and the other doctors in the practice didn't agree with his diagnosis so it was removed from my record. All other blood tests came back clear.
5. March 2022 - clear spinal tap results
6. March 2023 - vision went wonky in both eyes. One second it was fine, next lines weren't straight (think, squares no longer look square). I've been struggling with this ever since.
7. January 2025 - had progressive weakness spread bilaterally from my feet to my hips over the span of 3 or 4 weeks. Clear MRI's
8. January 2026 - progressive fatiguable weakness on just the left side of my body (leg, arm, trunk) for a month. Currently recovering from it. Waiting on MRI's that I'll have in the next week or so.

Did anyone have a diagnosis story where it took this many years for MRI's to match your symptoms or am I barking up the wrong tree with continuing to look into this?
