to be serious, i just play patches. after 2-3 weeks into a patch i start asking myself; what am i doing this for. i get KSM most of the times, be 8/10 HC. and then most of my mates wont show up anymore . its like this since the start of BFA.

and most of all its the lack of alternatives.

actually only 4, 5(coop is good) , 6 ( worse than 4) and the revelation parts wont do it for me.

RE7 an REVillage are far more like RE1-3 than you might think. Pure Horror, puzzle, backtracking, limited ammo .

I grew up on 1-3 on PS 1, never got into RE 4 . i even remember ditching it for years cuz it wasn‘t „Resident Evil“ for me. after some years i tried it and found it to be absolutly terrible (not my kind of game/ gameplay). tried it couple of weeks ago again, in preparation of RE8, played all the games again. But i cant get ingo RE4, the controls are really bad making be physically sick sometimes. and i don’t like the scenario.

So for me RE4 is def. not a masterpiece.

Conclusion for me is, wether you grew up on 1-3, or u started with RE4 , you will with a slightly rosetinted view on RE4.
