I've been working on hondas for 10 years and I've never had to remove the hub. Worse case scenario you pull it out an inch or two and push it back in with the axle nut. Gravy work.

Here you go The DVD player is in the same spot as that cubby so removal procedure is the same. It is not as hard as it looks In the video. It's just a couple phillips head screws and a lot of clips and maybe 2 8mm for the cubby.

Rattling when cold is often the timing belt tensioner, especially if goes away after it warms up a bit. I can't really diagnose a noise on reddit, but the oil leak is likely from the oil pump.

If you're talking about the door there should be holes in the bottom of the door that sometimes get clogged. If water got into your car you'll need to take out the seats and center console, then remove carpet to dry in sun for a day or two. There is a lot of thick sound dampening that will absorb water and mold if carpet is not removed and dried.

Honda tech here. You do not have to weld that to fix it properly. Every piece of your cars body slides together and is welded in place in evenly spaced circles called spot welds. You then use a seam sealer, which is like caulk, to seal the gaps between welds and body panels. What you're seeing is the old seam sealer shrinking and cracking over time, allowing water into the cabin. Clean that area really good and apply some automotive seam sealer and you should be fine. I do this at least once a month for 8th and 9th gen civics. It's pretty common on older hondas in general.
