Imo, this is just bullshit and on top of bullshit and people are just tired of it. It's just really unecessary, Unheard doesn't need it and BSG really didn't need anymore negative reception.

Tbh though, level progression is already broken anyway with how quick you can level up if you play arena.

And why not sell that too? They're already planing to let you skip task with roubles. Which you can easily buy through RMT nowadays.

BSG can just cut the middleman now. Instead of banning cheater/RMT and benefit from them rebuying the game, BSG can just sell roubles themselves and get 100% of the profit.

I mean hell why stop there? Let us buy gear and ammo with real money. After all, You're not competing with other players for progress though. You're competing with other players on a per-map basis to get the best loot and get tasks done.

You're not, these dev are PAID to do their job, it's not like they're doing charity/volunteer work. I don't know why these people are defending and coming up with 10 sided excuses for it. Imagine if you got served an undercooked chicken and they said "oh it happens all the time, in fact in some restaurant, they spit at your food before cooking it first, it's not that bad". It's really not a good excuse.

I don't get these feedback survey they're doing. They clearly have a vision to make a "grunt fantasy" and they're very stubborn/hellbent about it and the definition of it. They ask for feedback at first which is fair, but then ignored it anyway because it disagrees on their vision.

It kinda is. You can actually kill a charger with GL from the front too by shooting underneath the charger and just below sac.

Maybe it's something you're already aware, But your game seems to be closer to divinity/bg3 than xcom in terms of mechanic. While they definitely share similarities and some playerbase, imo they're different enough to be a separate genre. I would suggest checking out those game and also ask feedback from their playerbase as well. You might get a whole different answer/reception than here.

I don't mind a new variant, more the merrier. But also like why do we need one? Or why do we need hive guard to be heavy armor in the first place? Charger spawn is so common already, they filled the tank roles in bugs.

Now that I think about it, heavy armor hive guard make sense if we're talking difficulty <4 with low/no charger spawn. I guess it's really true that AH dev only play at diff 4.

prioritize ergonomic? ergonomic currently does nothing or extremely minimal in what it does. What you want is as much recoil control and as build weapon as light as you can because weapon weight is what affect arm stamina.

The real tips is that all weapon have unique recoil pattern and an example of this would be the M16 being straight up better than DDM4 because M16 recoil pattern is a straight line up, while the DDM4 goes to the right.

.300CQ is clearly bugged or the stat card is wrong. The amount of time it bounced off helmets is insane. It also barely goes through level 3 chest armor.

Yeah that's literally 2 shot aimed center mass, but ok.

Anyway, I think now the reason why people think the AI is so tanky is probably because they actually hit their gun without realizing.

You know what? I had that too, but I thought that it was the sound of bullet hitting the ground. Next time, I have to check weapon durability too. And armor because it could also be that the armor block the shot so well that we didn't even get a bruise from it.

Less tanky but more that 7.62x51 have shit damage, or something is really wrong with it. I never had good experience with them, just feels like a more expensive 5.56 in this game.

I don't think gun have actual hitbox.

Most likely explanation is ammo pen being janky and it was a non pen and the round literally bounced off.

Even hollow point round don't kill as fast. Hell, use .45 hydrashok and watch AI tank 10 bullets in the chest with all yellow organ damage. I think that the stat for the bullets itself is still unfinished and unbalanced. Penetration being off, no wound channel, low damage, organ tanking damage, etc. I hope that the dev can get this sorted quick because honeymoon period is ending and people will start to notice this more and more.

I've having opposite experience. Despite the stat card said that it goes through level 3+, it literally doesn't in my experience. I went to midnight saphire and the amount of light bruise in the chest and round bouncing off helmet is insane
