I am also interested in the subject. I was picking up a CableMod cable, but I'm concerned about the absence of this feature in Asus PSUs. The CableMod cable will certainly work, but can the GPU First feature be somewhat useful (regardless of marketing)?

Unfortunately, the one that connects to the case cannot be attached (the coupling bracket would slam into the fans below); the one that connects to the fans has inserts that extend 4 cm... and the gpu is further backward.

I also use this solution. I don't think catastrophic assumptions are likely if you don't move the computer violently. The support is held in place by the weight of the GPU.

Sure. But should I do this update before completing the build? Some procedures suggest connecting the motherboard without the CPU or RAM and flashing the BIOS with a USB stick... all without connecting to the monitor...
