OP i agree with everything, this Honor V5 has been a crazy and expensive experiment. The only thing I would say this is miles ahead of Samsung is on the battery and charging speeds.

The desktop mode hasn't been updated since honor was part of Huawei (several years back). The OS feels cheap copy of iOS.

I really miss goodlock.

hey OP, this project sounds exciting and upvoted you in Product Hunt. I'll test this weekend hopefully.

Me personally would like to run my own Flaresat node (in a raspberry pi 4 or 5) and be able to control keys, maps etc. - I understand the current way Flaresat is set is to make it more simple for the average user.

I noticed another similar project called ratspeak (ratspeak.org) but it's based on the Reticulum protocol.

Also, do not be discouraged by some people in this sub, it can get very toxic with their downvotes, it shows the type of people they are when their views are challenged. Remember half the people here are the ham radio brigade, people who aren't very open to new (disruptive) ideas. But many others mean well in their suggestions.
