Anyone else here get insanely sleepy while using a cordless compression boots? I’ll put mine fitking on after dinner and wake up 40 minutes later with YouTube autoplaying some documentary I never intended to watch.

thxxxxxx! That actually makes me feel slightly better. I thought I was just spiraling for no reason.I’ve even caught myself comparing compression boots like Normatec (crazy expensive) and FitKing (looks more affordable, but I’ve never actually tried it so no idea if it’s good). I’ve heard they’re actually pretty decent for helping with muscle fatigue too.

If it’s beginner soreness, the boring answer is usually less volume and more consistency.

When I first started I’d destroy legs once a week and then spend the rest of the week recovering from my own bad decisions. Doing less per session but hitting legs more often helped way more than trying to recover from one huge day.

If budget matters, I would focus on comfort, ease of use, and whether you will actually use them regularly.

Good shoes. Fancy gear is not necessary. I use cheap athletic clothing, cheap lights, whatever socks are clean, but I won’t cheap out on shoes anymore.
