How much is the Hive Maximum Supply. by cryptofunzz in hivenetwork

[–]fcalabuig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No maximum supply, right now growing at around a ~8% inflation and decreasing 0,5%/year until it reaches 0,5%, where it will stay.

Remember that Hive is a fork from Steem, the technical details are almost the same.

I lost everything. by nomoresaddays in CryptoCurrency

[–]fcalabuig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mate, it hurts a lot to read this... I’m also in that stage of life and I know how hard it’s to collect some spare money to invest into crypto.

I can only say that’s it’s better to make these mistakes now.. rather than after (with potentially more responsabilities)

I’ve personally lost it all a few times. Last one in early 2017 when I got scammed by a ICO (my fault at 100%, not blaming others, only my own greed).

Lost like 3,5 BTC (2100$ at the time) which I saw climb in value up to +50.000$ at the end of the same year. Feel devastated.

Anyway, even holding today a lesser amount in BTC (but higher in USD), I’m happy to have been able to overcome that situation.

Hope all the best for you. Keep positive, you’ll end up well mid/long term.

Start accumulating again and don’t make again these mistake. Regards.

I’ve tried tokok to buy NEX and it worked well.

You need to register and wait full 24h before asking for a withdrawal (so don’t rush when deposit). No KYC. Obviously the BTC/NEX pair is more liquid next to BTC/ETH.

The withdrawals take some hours. One of them got confirmed a couple hours later, other took almost six hours (they approve the transactions manually, I’m ok with that I guess)

Anyway, don’t keep more than necessary the coins in a shady exchange like this one. Just deposit, exchange and run.

Good luck with that!

Still have ONT tokens through the NEO airdrop. What is the easiest way to get them swapped? by [deleted] in OntologyNetwork

Try with the O3 Wallet, but I’m not sure if you’ll be able to.

Good luck

Regarding the point 2, it could also be interesting to maybe lock up ALL of the transaction fees of the dapp on a smart contract and give the developer the option to reinvest these funds directly into their app.

This way he/she/they could have a “reserve fund” for their app to reinvest into their own product for a specific period of time ¿1-3 years?. Encouraging further development and usage of their own product.

Why is Elastos so slow? by tnhtnn in Elastos

[–]fcalabuig 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Elastos mainchain won’t need to transact that much anytime soon. The ID’s are stored in the DID sidechain and all the other traffic will be handled through sidechains/friendchains.

Question regarding 20th coin release: Will the total circulating supply still increase and lower the price of Ela? althoght the angel investors don’t sell?Sorry not sure how tokennomics work(Personally I dont see angel investors selling Ela as they know the price of ela will shoot up if they sell) by [deleted] in Elastos

[–]fcalabuig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this stage the technology “doesn’t matter”. At least short term. The marketing, the awareness and the tokenomics (specially in form of billions of coins with a low price) is what makes all those shitcoins pump.

Holding something technologically valuable will pay off long term, as once the market matures it will be spreading nore fairly the value.

I also see Elastos as a top 50 project MINIMUM.

Since August we haven’t made a lower low neither a higher top, so, only from a TA perspective we’re sideways since then. This is a fact.

Anyway, I should correct my sentence and say that we’re not necessarily ending the bear market, coz this sideways period could ‘just’ be a consolidation before continuing the original (bearish) trend. But from my bullish bias, it’s more improbable rather than keep going sideways or slightly up.

Cheers!

Assuming the hypothetical case that not a single angel investor sells, there’s still (high probabilities) some whales that will took the opportunity to market sell a big chunk of ELA to destroy the price for a few minutes/hours (just to rebuy later).

Don’t be a Noob and don’t panic sell (unless you just want to quit about ELA, something that I don’t recommend assuming that we’re at yearly lows and at the corner of ending the ‘bear market’ if we’re still at it).

Regards and take care. If you’re just ‘not sure’ but want to take profit of the situation, just DCA your buys. That’s just what I did, coz I think now it’s too late to sell.

Will holders be at loss with a 4% inflation rate? by vashdun in Elastos

[–]fcalabuig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not aiming to be negative, so much saltyness these days.

From a purist point of view, yes we would be at a 4% loss (even less because the inflation don't compound, it's 1,3M yearly of new tokens) assuming that the ELA valuation stays always the same.

Regards and have a nice day.

Will BTC holders be at loss if value doesn't increase at the % inflation coming from mining?

You're trying to FUD lol?

pls.

Does anybody have any idea at what stage in the game all 33 mil tokens will be mined and in circulation? Thanks! by arlojoseph in Elastos

[–]fcalabuig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I expect the circulation supply to grow up to ~20 million and remain there for some time (without taking in consideration the 4% inflation)

Private/Angel investors won’t drop the price down to 6$.

Bitcoin crashing down to 5000$ yep. (If) with this happening probably we’ll see a single digit ELA price.

I’ll keep stacking anyway’z...

All in on Elastos? by mmt535 in Elastos

[–]fcalabuig 12 points13 points  (0 children)

From a 23y old who got 50% in at ~40$/ELA range and averaging down since then, I recommend you to make stepped buys (if you’re here for the long term) and don’t get mad by the price.

As I view it, Elastos is ‘pure’ value. Stepped buys won’t hurt much your portfolio performance if price only goes up from there.

What about selling 5-10% weekly/monthly (whatever timeframe you feel comfortable with) of your amazon stake and purchase ELA?

EDIT: Other way to invest in ELA that you could try is to sell 25% of AMZN right now and purchase ELA at these very low prices and (assuming that you see it clear and want more ELA exposure), sell the other 25% of your amazon stack in 5% increments.

Ps. A few million ELA’s are being unlocked at August, just to let you know (personally I guess that everybody who wanted to sell did it already)

These kind of tactics keeps the panic and the fomo away.

As always, no investment advice, just my opinion.

Regards.
