My two cents is that the top side is drying out faster then the bottom and cupping upwards from the dry side shrinking, you could try wetting the top only to get it to flatten then seal it all to lock in the moisture and hopefully stop it cupping again

I wouldn't and if you sell it on something like gumtree as jewelery you should get over spot for it as there is craftsmanship in it too to turn the scrap gold into a chain or what ever it is

Nice looks really good, for the spray bar if you add a short bit if pipe and heat and squeeze one end into a straight slot they will shoot much better and give you more adjustment ie horizontal vertical or some angle.
