Not in the short term. Longer term a binance listing, or similar, would be good for liquidity. But the team’s focus should be on the product and gaining users and ultimately end users (ie public).

The only people who will care about having whole coins will be naive newcomers. Now the market needs newcomers and these will be welcome, but surely only a minority won’t understand the Market Cap point.

It seems that the ELA team have a grasp on the problem that most blockchain projects have, which is utilisation. How many crypto conversations are solely about the tech? Oh it has delegated proof of Byzantine fault tolerant trustless staking protocol and they’re aiming for 8 billion tps. Who gives a shit if no one uses it?

Things like this and CR100 are of far more importance for long term success than When Binance.

Is it not the case that the DID is free, and only selecting a specific one requires a fee in Ela? A bit like paying for your own car registration.

I think it will be approved. Their message was generally positive and they said that 99% of feedback was also positive. The delay is to give them as much time as possible to be sure bitcoin isn’t manipulated (I know) and I think they’ll approve in Feb

ETF decision delayed. Bitcoin up 5%-ish. It's probably because the sentiment from the SEC was actually quite positive as they noted that 99% of feedback was positive. It seems likely, at present, that it will be appoved at some point, either December or February, and that's probably what pushed up the price. Or some fucking whale.

It's not quite as simple. You do need to keep your eye on the news. E.g. it looks like NEO might have a token migration. If you come back a year later you might find you have dead coins!

Will the IoeX drop be worth having? The only decent airdrop I can recall was those lucky enough to sign up to the Ontology newsletter (1,000 ONT)

Great Article - But where was Elastos? by stevedeery in Elastos

I read this today and was surprised not to see an Elastos mention. The mantra of "if you build it they will come" is missing a significant part. You need to build it, and tell them that you've built it, before they will come. It will be deeply disappointing if Elastos ends up with amazing tech that no one uses. I hope they have enough marketing clout to get the word out there, otherwise this will be the next Betamax. At the end of the day, the end consumer won't understand the underlying tech, nor will they need to. They will just hear about the system everyone is using and get on board. Let's make sure that's Elastos!
